havnt you seen back to the future? they cant let us see them because if they do everything will change in their future.
I disagree. According to Albert Einstein Space is connected to time. "space-time," if-you-will. This means, if one moves at the speed of light, age does not apply to them. One can spend 40 years moving at the speed of light, and not age one day. Therefore a craft which can move through space at the speed of light, would also be moving through time. Every point in time exists somewhere in Space. Therefore, space travel is also time travel. (you'd just have to be going at the speed of light)
I wonder if precognitive dreams can count as time travel on the astral plane. I have had precognitive dreams before and it feels like I astral project to the future. One time I had a very clear dream of one of my children losing control of their bike going down hill and smashed into a speeding car. I warned my children if it ever happened to steer into the ditch instead of letting the bike reach the road at the bottom of the hill. A year later my sons bike breaks went out on that hill. He steered into the ditch and saw a speeding car zoom by where he would have been if he had not taken my advice. Maybe it was just coincidence but it sure makes me wonder.
Time does not exist outside of our direct experience There is nothing to travel Time "selection" is possible
Time travel is possible! I explained this early on in this thread. A widely accepted theory of Albert Einstein is that of "space-time." He essentially says that space and time are one entity. In other words, every point in time exists (somewhere) in space! If this is in fact true; that the Universe is a recurring series which ends as it began. Then all one would have to do to to move freely through time, is to create a Space Craft which moves at the Speed of Light. The Human in such a vessel, would not age at all; Even though, many journeys would take thousands of years. If one could move freely through space-time without aging a day, essentially you've created time travel. What's also interesting, is that physics cannot explain why time moves forward. It might as well move backwards. Time is ungoing skip into each and every next moment.
You guys are making this too hard... All you have to do is step sideways in time... You can go anywhere you want. I mentioned this earlier in this thread.
I think Time travel could be good as long as if it were impossible to affect anything but still get the experience.
