I wasn't talking about the movie, I don't even know it (yet) unfortunately. I was referring to what you said about the 60's and 70's vibe:

And Pat Boone didn't kill heavy metal, a new genre never stays on it's highlight. I love his take on Holy diver by the way :) But now we're going really offtopic I guess.

And the faster this trend moves on, the better!!! Hopefully the pendulum will swing back in the opposite direction and rapping about bitches and money will no longer be "trendy".

That would be nice, but it wouldn't help much probably since it's just a trendy thing again and the majority would only go with it because it's 'in'. Not that I wouldn't enjoy that trend ;), but that's what it most likely would be.
There's always a chance the mass reach some kind of enlightment though, I'm not saying that that's out of the question.

As long as the entertainment industry can squeeze a profit from what they feel we should be entertained with,it will be a long time before anything dies, and I'm not pissed off I have a different way of com. thats all.

I think a good movie about hippies would be one that shows the positive aspects of those things in the hippie lifestyle which are least accepted by the mainstream.....which, of course, would have to include glorified drug trips, but also maybe the spiritual awakenings that can come from such.

I'd like to see one that shows the process of a stressed out society slave tuning in, turning on and dropping out.
