What does I love you mean?

Saying or writing I love you is not way to deep unless your head is in the gutter.

I don't usually say "I love you" to non-family men. But I have made exceptions when I knew it wouldn't... uhmm, be taken the wrong way?

Many MANY people simply sign letters that way & don't think too much of it. There is more than one kind of love. And while it COULD be something to worry about, I'd ask first. I myself sign my messages "love, mom" not meaning that I have a deeply cherish everyone who might read the letter, but because I feel love towards others, in a friendship-only way.

For now I think there is 2 kinds of love ...one when someone loves you to get some material gain outta it, like a pimp. The other is a type of love that is like adding high octane rocket fuel to your or mine gastank. On the second type, which I love, I am free to plan and use the feelings of love at my leisure down the line to do whatever I love to do. Whereas the first type the pimp love seems to push me in a hurry to do something. I can tell the difference but really can't explain it that well.
I think this love is sex oriented or not is a girl thing. I don't see guys drawing the difference as much. Color me blue if ya like, but I feel the world would be a better place if love for others was a feeling that people had on purpose about others rather than a reaction to what somebody owns, does for ya, or how the person acts.

color me green to if ya like, but I do not think I'm jealous about others love for each other. I think I have 8 dogs and 4 cats I love more than I love any people in both time and quanity..........and it is not important what living things you love as long as you can find a way to love without feeling like you are being taken advantage of unfairly. I'm like Doris Day that way.

 

It must be an inherited trait that I feel unduly registered to be excited about certain females on sight, I feel like my genes are taking advantage of my thinking brain and much rather get excited about a girls ideas and creative deeds than the sight on. But I can't seem to block that and realizing that is probably as decent a reason as any for not jumping into marriage in my lifetime. Gonna be a long shot if I ever meet in person the right girl. So the love beat goes on and I love everybody.
