milk(1G ea of 2% + whole), hamburger, green onions, almost always tomatoes and some kind of shrooms, usually ngarics, but shitake and i forget some of the otherones we sometimes get instead, whole bean coffee in the freezer, lemon squizinz from the lemon bush in our yard, harvested, squoze and froze every year about this time, eggziz. also a jar of left over coffee from when we clean the pot to make fresh. we try to keep a rotating diversity of a lot of other things. oh yah, there is always a jug of water too.

there's also always pasta of some kind, multiple kinds, on the non refrigerated shelves, and in the keepers, and some kinds of powdered bullions, oh and of course, my powdered chocklet.

Do you ever hear the compressor turn off?

If your thermostat is a bi-metal coil the coil may be stuck on the contact thus preventing the compressor from turning off.

I would suggest opening it up and checking it was stuck or not.
