Ha, there was one quicktime piece that was a bit tricky on the ps4. We saw it about 40 times before we got past that :-D But yeah there aren't as much as you might fear after the intro
just got to the part where you go searching for the second pilot after the plane gets hit by lightning. if I didn't have work I would likely be playing until I was too tired to play anymore.
2048.c : The object of the game is to get a block with the value 2048 by merging together blocks before the board fills completely up. Game is played in the terminal, no X server needed since the graphics are done using the standard output.
i've been cycling between KoA: Reckoning, Alice: Madness Returns, DA: Awakening, Titanfall, Lollipop Chainsaw, Madden
I've been playing original Xbox lately lol. Found my oldXbox in the basement at my mom's house and been jamming on that. Even found an original controller at V-Stock. I have a wireless one, but there's no padding left on the thumbsticks and it takes 3 AA batteries. Eats em like crazy. As far as games go, Beatdown: Fists of Vengeance, Fable TLC, The Thing and Conker's Bad Fur Day are all pretty neat.
Never knew Conker's was on another system than the N64 First Fable (with or without tlc) on original xbox clearly was the most fun to me. Best worked out setting. Didn't enjoy most of the additions in later Fable games to make it newer or more spectacular (like guns ) If you can find old xbox games easily and haven't tried it yet get Oddworld: Stranger's wrath :-D
That's the one Oddworld game I haven't had the chance to play yet. I'm having fun w Fable tho! My brother was hooked on the series when it first came out. Not sure if he ever played the first one though. I remember watching him play 2 and 3 and the guns did seems really out of place in a fantasy game like Fable. I do wish I had a giant stockpile of money and more places to rent out tho. I've also been making money from this weird money glitch in the game. Buy a bunch of gems, once the seller is bought out, seller raises prices to full since it's out of stock. Sell all gems for full price! And Conker on Xbox... omg, you just haven't lived until you've played it! Multiplayer is INSANELY cool! I wonder how many hours me and my bro put into multiplayer in that game... I just started the story, lmao at some of the extra stuff they threw in it.
Finished up Tales from the Borderlands today. No game has literally made me laugh out loud as this game did.
I was not a big fan of that game. Maybe because I did not play the first game and I had to wait months between episodes and I could not keep track of the story. But I am a huge fan of the Telltale Game of Thrones.
I noticed i dont mind stealing or killing innocent people in fallout but i dont do either at all in skyrim. I think its because there are worse consequences in skyrim but i cant be sure.
Not if you do it unseen In Skyrim when i attemp a risky thing with possible unwanted consequences, like killing a particular villager, i make sure i just went through a door or something else that makes an autosave. If it appears i get spotted and killed by the guards... no problemo, just reload latest autosave. Fallout 3? I suspect it's a silly question if you would recommend it to someone who loved Skyrim and is eager for Fallout4? (i never took notice of 3, or played New Vegas)
killing anyone, innocent or not, is much more satisfying in fallout. in skyrim they just sort of flop onto the ground; in fallout their body parts explode in slow motion. and that's before you have the bloody mess perk.
Kingdoms of Amalur is awesome! It's another one of those Bethesda like games tho, where there are a shit ton of side quests and a really long storyline. I wouldn't mind getting back into that game. Fluid fighting is usually what sells me on a good RPG. Along with a good amount of depth. I think Fallout 3 is kind of like the 'entry' game. It's sort of based on the Fallout 2 story (apocalypse happens, everyone hides in a vault, escape the vault and solve a mystery). I didn't care for New Vegas. Branch-offs in the storyline were far too linear. That goes for Fallout 3 as well, but I didn't mind it as much in Fallout 3. I just felt like the developers got lazy and set up the storyline in a spider-type of outline. Fallout 4 looks fricken amazing tho. I don't know what it is with Bethesda games... Fallout and Elder Scrolls, I always start the storyline and get wrapped up in the side quests, get bored and never finish the story. I put like 250+ hours into Oblivion and never finished it. Countless amounts of Fallout 3 saves. I can't imagine how much time I spend playing Fallout 3.
yeah, i don't know enough about fallout 4 to say if it really helps to play 3 first. i imagine they built 4 in such a way that it doesn't really matter if you've ever played a fallout game before, since that means it can sell to the highest number of people. that said, i highly recommend playing 3 just in general, and it seems logical to play it first if you're going to play both. the fallout games do have plenty of references to previous games, so even if none of it is essential that you've played the earlier games, it probably does enhance the experience a little bit.
You don't need to play Fallout 3 to understand 4. You are two different characters in the same universe. If you have played 3 you will recognize a lot of story elements though. I've been buried in 4 since it came out. One of the best RPG's in recent memory maybe ever. Although the whole concept of the game is a bit depressing for me. Going around finding skeletons clutching teddy bears and fearful notes from people. And there is no way for me to save the world just make it suck a little less.
