yeah, i usually end up playing as a good guy too. it's kind of weird; i always end up feeling guilty if i do something mean to a video game character. i've tried to start games as an evil character several times, but it never really works out. i begrudgingly make the major evil choices (like blowing up megaton, for example) just for the sake of seeing that side of the storyline, but all minor decisions always end up going toward helping people anyway.
Fallout 3 when i am done with a store owner i will steal their shit and of course they attack and i am forced to kill them.
I love free MMORPG's, like RuneScape which I have played a lot, and I have recently discovered Guild Wars 2. Here I am fighting Moss Giants in RuneScape (I'm the little person in the middle, about to be hit over the head by a big club!): And here is my character on Guild Wars 2 looking cool in the rain under floating rocks! I would love to find some more free MMORPG's, I hear World of Warcraft is now free to play, but I haven't tried downloading that one yet, and I would love to find a free to play science-fiction online game too. I'd love any recommendations you might have!
Life is Strange, that's a game I am looking forward to playing sometime, I have heard good things. I may fire up Fallout 4 tonight.
Waiting for No Man's Sky... Now 'that's' a game I could get into. I feel myself sort of waning away from the newer consoles and next gen scene. Ever since my bro moved out and took his PS3... I just don't care anymore Been playing Fable: TLC and a few old MSDOS games lately. Trying to make my way through the old Star Wars Jedi Knight series on PC, then pop in the Knights of the Old Republic game I got from a friend. I probably don't 'need' to, but I feel like I should play them in order. I've heard a lot of good reviews on KOTOR. Even better reviews for KOTOR 2. I'd like to go to the game shop and pick up Battlefront 1 or 2 since it has multiplayer with bots. The new Battlefront game looks pretty epic. Hey, and I don't even like Star Wars!
Its more an interactive movie than a game but it is very well made. You can pretty much believe these are living breathing people.
Life is Strange was one of the better games I played this year. I played it as each episode came out and had to wait several weeks in between. Playing it now would be much better. I know a few people who play EVE but I think that is pay to win. So you don't have to have a subscription but you really do if you want to be competitive.
Zelda Ocarina of Time: I'm on Forest Temple, trying to defeat ganon the first time ... its harder than I remember it being. I still have two save files on that cartridge with much more progress. They are still there from when I played this game long ago, when I was much younger .... it seems like so long ago and they are still there ^,^
I bought fall out 4 but I haven't opened it yet. and I probably should because it takes like hours to download and install etc. gone are the days of plug and play. =[
It seems like all those games were easier back then. I dont know if its a young persons game. Or im out of practice. Or i had more spare time then...whatever it is i just dont prefer punishing games. Anything harder than the prison in half life2 and i might just put the game away.
Blasting my way through the Uncharted games! Am about 60% through the first one (according to the savegame ) so I couldn't resist starting up 2 already which definitely is better (and starts awesome :-D). But that doesn't mean the first one is bad at all. It just becomes apparent that it really is a bit older. It reeks of Tomb raider (or the new Tomb raider reeks of Uncharted) which doesn't bother me in the slightest (on the contrary, exactly what I wanted from these games) I already expected a new character and a new storyline. What I mean is: if one enjoyed the crap out of a game like Skyrim and is sure Fallout 4 is the bomb, are they ought to play Fallout 3 as well (because if so I think I would prefer to do so before fallout 4, and not after. Not because of the story but more graphic and innovation wise)? I guess I know the answer! I like a punishing hard game every once in awhile, but certainly not one after the other! I think I definitely appreciated a game like Ocarina of time (I get nostalgic just thinking about it: besides that I had a lot of fun with it, it's also the first and only Zelda I played and completed ) more when I was younger. But not sure why. Could count for nintendo games as a whole. Still dig mario kart with friends but not enough to buy a console. On PC? Or latest xbox? I'm gonna get it soon as well (ps4 is my only option)!
Phantom Gannon can be difficult at first. The trick is to identify the real Ganon charging towards you from inside the painting. It might be a little difficult to see, but the fake Ganon is actually a bit darker then the real one. If you can identify quick enough you should be able to shoot the real one before he emerges from the painting. After he dismounts his horse, the fight becomes a matter of you staying locked on to Ganon and strike his fireballs back at him with your sword then attacking while he's down.
haha lol you sound like you've played zelda way too much what's the best weapon to use, I can't ever seem to hit him with an arrow before he kills me. I am obviously going to need to go back out and re-up on potions or maybe lon-lon milk and make sure I go in there with max hearts. I think you have to be child link to get the milk though. Game is a lot more time consuming to get through than I remember ... it has to have been more than a decade since I really played this game, probably a lot more. I think I was in 6th grade about it seems when PS2 was the hot console .. so yea that was a long ass time ago. Apparently the game engine Nintendo used in Zelda Ocarina of time is mostly the same as Mario 64, just with slightly modified code. I can certainly see the similarity.
I am not a gamer. I did download Euchre and have been playing that. I use to play the actual game, however know knows how to play.
Ha, yes I have played through Ocarina several times. Although I don't care too much for the 3D Zelda's with the exception of this one. 2D Zelda's are more my thing. During this fight, all you need is your standard arrows and your sword. You have to hit the real Ganon right before he leaves the painting, you should see something like a purple portal open up, shoot the arrow at him right then.
good luck with that. i agree completely, but i've found it's usually best not to admit it on the internet because internet people take it as a personal insult if you don't think every 3D zelda is the number one best game ever. on the subject of the thread, i'm actually playing several games right now, which is very unlike me. i'm playing through the main story of GTA5 and at the same time i'm working on a mage character in morrowind. plus i'm still fucking around with my NES emulator. i just finished mario 3 two nights ago, and i'm pretty sure i'm not going back to battletoads after being just too annoyed to continue in the waterpipes level toward the end of the game. at this point, i'm thinking it's time to download a genesis emulator so i can replay through sonic 2, another old favorite.
I don't think the 3D games are bad, well with the exception of two that are just awful. I believe the 2D Zelda's are superior, and I am willing to calmly debate anyone who disagrees, as long as they can remain mature. ugh...Battletoads
