are you playing on the xbox? i think i remember the journal having that problem in that version. the pc version is set up better; there's an options button that lets you view a list of all the open quests. the only problem with that is that certain quests will never close if you don't start them the right way, which is usually the way that you're least likely to start them.

i think i'm about to stop morrowind myself. just because i've been on it for probably 5 months now and i'm ready to start fallout 4 instead. i beat the main quest (for the first time ever), am in charge of the mages guild, house telvanni, and the temple, beat bloodmoon including the raven rock storyline, and am about halfway through tribunal. it would be nice to finish tribunal and maybe run through the morag tong storyline, especially since i just maxed out my enchant skill and would like to create a badass suit to do it in, but it's just starting to get kind of old.

Damn man, completed the main storyline of Morrowind and still not finished with the game :D

I recall I had an analogue piece of paper on my most serious playthrough of morrowind to remind me of stuff and keep track of quests and names and stuff. Had little trouble with the journal after that. Don't want to needlessly read the whole journal too often looking for one piece of info!

i played again last night, enchanted that suit i was going for. i now regenerate health and fatigue at something like 6 or 8 per second, constant slowfall, constant night eye, 680 carrying capacity, along with i think 25% reflect and weapon resistance from some ring or amulet i already had. i'm probably forgetting one or two minor effects too from the few prior enchanted items that i kept on. plus i have the mantle of woe robe that i put on in dungeons which puts my magicka up to 858 or something like that (can't wear it outside of dungeons because it also comes with sun damage and drops your personality to zero).

my continued playing at this point is aided by my lack of time. i really want to start fallout 4, but i don't want to do it when i have less than 2 or 3 hours to dedicate to it, and it seems like i never have that block of time available. so i just play morrowind for an hour instead.

i always keep a piece of paper when playing morrowind too. i always write down all my skill levels when i level up, so i know what to practice to max out my attribute bonuses. it's kind of funny; i've never taken a note in school or anything like that, but i do take notes when playing morrowind.

That's always the case though. Like I don't remember a thing I learned in science class other than boiling water and cold water both freeze at the same time in a freezer, because I did a study on it and I only got 6/10 and was like what the fuck, what the fuck else was I meant to do with that assignment? But then like, I'll remember like the whole lunch session with my friends from that day.

Although I completed university, that was an abstract course anyway, sports medicine, but anything to do with learning about things etc. it took me until I left school to actually find the motivation to learn about things.

It's akin to beer and water. I won't sit and drink 3 liters of water with anyone. But 3 liters of beer? Awwh shit yeah coz.

Drinking 3 liters of water just sounds plain unhealthy! While 3 liters of beer... :cheers2:

Same here. But I'm slightly getting more in the mood for making more time for Fallout 4 as well!

Terrapin, are you taking notes :D This is how you properly play Morrowind :p

My xbox USB charging chord isn't working so I need to buy a new one. I thought I'd get one with my wireless controller I got at the start of the year but nope I can't find another one and with that thought I should have three if they came with the controller. So they mustn't.

What? You don't get a way to charge your controller when you buy a new wireless controller? That's absurd...!

Mostly I play resident evil games on my ps3. I like to play co-op on line and these games are great for that. Now I am playing Remember Me which is also a capcom game but only single player. However I am enjoying the challenge of it.

hi asmo, I do like this forum but never seem to get back to it. These days I'm into gaming and going on second life. Although I am having fun today visiting after a long absence.

I wish I could leave it at visiting only every now and then. But this forum is kind of like my morning newspaper (without the news though) :-D

I know what you mean, there are sites which I am horribly addicted to also. But I do try to strike a balance between my virtual world and physical world. Sometimes, however, I can't tell the difference, lol

I can relate only to that by this forum use :p My other virtual world activities are single player games (if you notice you mix up real life with residential evil games you know you went too far :D) But if you play a lot of second life and get to know real people in there I can imagine :D Never played it myself btw, but noticed what kind of online game it is! Focussed on socializing.

yes second life is a lot like playing resident evil, I seem to be always on the defensive fighting off zombie men who want to attack me,

Lol yeah that's the online world alright. You could always play as a male character, even if just for a change :p

Second Life, there's a game I have not heard anyone talk about in years. I didn't know it was still around. Never tried in myself.

Most guys who come on second life project an image with the idea of seduction in mind. This kind of relating gets old very fast. I just try to be real and sometimes meet a guy who is also just trying to be real. But for the most part trying to have a virtual relationship is very difficult because the real world kicks everyone around so badly that they try to take their frustrations out on the people they meet in their virtual world.

Well the last two controllers I've bought I don't think I got the wire. But anyway lol, I buy this new charge kit and the connection is wrong. Now I'm finna lose it. How the fuck can the plug be different? It's the same fucking console. -.- turns out the plug actually fits into the battery, not the controller. Even more absurd! Why would they do that? Unless the controller docking charge was a bit suspect.

So I guess xbox one doesn't have these controllers like the 360 had, where you simply changed the batteries. My preferred way to keep a controller working. I was kind of wary for switching to the PS4 ones which you have to recharge with a cable and I felt like man, that's not handy (esp. if you have only one controller and are forced to quit or play further with a tiny short cable lol).
The good thing is I can (and do) use the charger of my smartphone for it! :D ... but they also come with a charging cable. Which should be standard of course, certainly on the xbox if they can't recharge with a standard smartphone cable...

My friend finished AC unity so I borrowed that from him because chilling at his place while playing this game really got me in the mood to play this one first.

I began playing the new Ratchet & Clank game on the PS4. This might be the most beautiful game I have ever played, it is just gorgeous. Moreover it's incredibly fun to play as well.
