i've never owned a rdr, and haven't played it in a looooooooooong time, but the nightmare horses always impressed me and still do.
Never played that part. It was extra downloadable content. But also really different than the realistic main part of the game.
I ended up beating brows 55-16 My new rookie QB is pretty good, maybe even better than my QB I drafted last year.
I'm in regular season now week one. For like the first time ever I was like ehh.. Screw week 4 of pre season and simulated. Couldn't even tell you if I won. Who cares.
Feels like I been playing Deadwood all morning and still not out of chapter two. I let a guy fall off a cliff. He knew too much about me I also bought the Springfield rifle. I should probably try and upgrade my pistol. And I put a scope on my carbine repeater. and I bought a hat like my real hat and I still dunno how to offload my bear pelt.
I found the mini playstation and bought it for a few of the games. Psyphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, Demolition Derby to name a few. I haven't played them yet as not in the mood to start a story game but I've played Abe's Odysey and Demo Derby and Cool Boarders 2. Can't believe the graphics were sbo bad back then lol, they still feel like SNES games.
I was playing Post Scriptum before. I knew a spot on the map where I could camp up with the MG42 so when I saw the spawn truck head to this little village I knew I was about to light up the place. Then I watch them wade through the reeds they gather up on this little hill, I could start blasting away but I don't like the distance so I'm watching them all group together in their squad formation and they start up the hill and I knew that's my best shot, while they're going up hill so I lock on to the last guy knowing my MG42 will spray up hill and I let these short bursts out. Pftftftftft Pftftftftftgt Pftftftftftgt until all 7 were left on the hillside. Then knowing I've probably been spotted I crawled down to the reed embank nailed another two GIs in the water. Then two solo guys making a run for the hill again. It was heaps fun, I love post Scriptum, the sounds are fantastic I love the beginning of matches everybody spends 5-10mins getting to formation for the defense. Then you hear the MG42 start up and you know they're coming. Then the cracks of rifles and then all shit hits the fan, you've got commanders calling in spitfires and stuka dive bombers you've got guys in vehicles trying to bait, trap and flank artillery. It's a real shit fight.
I haven't been playing anything without a system, but there are some new games coming out that look like they will be fun. I know they say you can't judge a book by its cover, but I think some of the 'Coming Soon' titles on gamestop.com for ps4 look worthwhile! One of the titles I think will be cool is "Kingdom Hearts III". I haven't played Kingdom Hearts at all, but this game looks like it would be a good experience at first glance. At least if you like Disney, which I do.
I like plenty of Disney but that game is clearly not for me (also saying this without ever having played that game).
Just did a stint as a marksman. I held a pretty good spot in the beginning of the map overlooking an embankment that I knew the Americans would try to come through. I managed to get about 8 guys down before they spotted me and mortared my area. Then I messed around on the eastern side of the objective. I took out another 4 but it was pretty quiet in that area. The Americans weren't able to capture the first objective and lost after 40mins which was pretty quick.
I so tried to play a few Playstation games but I just felt so disorientated by the hard to read graphics. Like you run down the street and the buildings jiggle. Maybe they were just never meant to be displayed on a 65" screen.
Yeah, hd screen doesn't make it better Also: we're spoiled with the graphics over the years. If i would play old games or on an old console i guess i would use an old analog tv. They're dirt cheap anyway and improve your classic game experience as they're better suited for it. But i feel so spoiled... i don't enjoy these old games anymore. Finished the story in RDR2 btw. Good stuff, esp. for those who also played RDR. But the freeroaming, random encounters and certain side stuff is at least as fun imo.
