you know, i don't think i've ever just randomly robbed a bank outside of a mission. not sure if that's an option or not. you can rob the general store, but they probably have like $20. train robberies are fairly lucrative, but you'll probably end up spending most of it on your bounty. i think if you really want some good money your best bet is to follow some treasure maps and get gold bricks. no bounty, and they're worth i think $500 each (and some treasure spots have multiple bricks). also, there's just nothing to do in strawberry. the only point of going to town most of the time is to get drunk and fight people, and strawberry doesn't have a saloon.
I know I mentioned Nintendo, but I don't know how to feel about the type of games that are coming from them because I have so little experience with their enterprise. What I mean by that is it feels totally new. Maybe that's a good thing. It's really new. Something I haven't done before. And I don't know if I'd really be able to enjoy it because it sure as anything isn't COD or SWBF. I have limited experience too with playing games that are role oriented. But that doesn't seem to be the gist here. And while part of me hopes that younger generations of gamers will embrace this sort of change as something positive and use it as a tool to overcome some of the less agreeable aspects of gaming (like violence in media, or even more tangibly oriented things like laziness), and to sort of grow out of their old shell and become something more evolved, I don't think it will happen. The other part of me, the part that longs for familiarity, I regard as the stronger sensibility of most gamers; at least the older ones. So I don't think gaming will evolve, and for that reason I wonder if Nintendo Switch will hold on. Also, I feel like their fatal flaw is that the games are such staples of the enterprise as Zelda or Mario; the names that have been around for 40 years. That has to change because it's visible, and in some ways, it's embarrassing to lean so heavily on remakes or spinoffs. Sure they're new games, but I feel they could make great new games that aren't iterations of something that's been done before. https://www.gamestop.com/video-game...ntendo-switch-with-gray-joy-con/11095821.html
I have a treasure map. Some Muppet sold it to me for 10$ I need to find the other half. I assume he was around the area the map was showing but I couldn't make any sense of the Map itself. Has like.. A mountain and 3 points shapes with an arrow pointing to the shapes. Looks like perculiar landscape but I can't see that shit anywhere.
The thing with Strawberry is it actually fits the setting of 1900. It's already marketed as a tourist destination. Not old wild west, except for the gallows lol You can easily kill the bounty hunters a couple of times (as Undies says you can see them approaching on the minimap). I love the slow motion kill shots when you kill a lawmen. Sometimes you see details impossible to notice otherwise. Or you can outrun them every time indeed. It's a lot of fun dealing with those bounty hunter posses. Disadvantage is with a high bounty they WILL keep coming and so eventually dealing with them drains your wallet and resources. Or you have to deal with them at times you don't wanna. This is one important reason why i played honourable. Less hassle and you can spend most of your money and resources exactly the way you want
I found the missing landmark for the treasure map and found it now the next map looks like 3 small vents in the earth and I don't know where they'd be. I assume in the snow somewhere. They look like 3 mini volcano's.
Black Friday isn't giving deals on Switch consoles; at least not very well. There were some steals on eBay earlier but I didn't feel the itch... At some point I would like to get one though. But hopefully it won't be costing me $300.
If you're real cheap you can rob those guys who offer to sell you a map too. Saves you $10 I scared one away once (was accidently threatening him with a gun instead of interacting) and he was about to take his map with him. I saw no other solution than to shoot him before he could get too far away
single white bisexual female? haha, you actually paid for that? last time i ran into that guy was right after the mission where you get drunk off your ass with lenny; i was trying to walk back to camp and this guy showed up, so i robbed him of the map at gunpoint, and then rode off on his horse. to do the treasure maps the "right" way, you just need to look and them and get a good idea what you're looking for, then wait until you stumble across it during normal gameplay. you can also occasionally check your game map and a landmark might show up; that's how i found "face rock" or whatever it's called for the first time. of course, you can also look up the answers online very easily if you want to do that. if the map you're describing there is the one i think it is, you'll recognize the spot as soon as you see it. i think it's close to a legendary animal too, so that might be what leads you to the area.
star wars battle front... that acronym was a stretch I guess. I haven't even played that game but figured other people had. I figured wrong!
Face rock is the easiest landmark to spot though. Some of those treasure maps are quite impossible I played both SWBs on ps4, but it went over my head too lol. SW should rang a bell though. Battlefront is one word so that's why the F probably caused me to miss what SWBF stands for
it's easy to spot, but hard to find again. i saw it before i ever got the treasure map, then once i got the map i couldn't find it again. i only knew where to go when i noticed that it was labeled on the main in-game map. i found all of the treasure locations naturally except one. that one that shows the x in the middle of a weird swirly thing was impossible; i even followed the directions online and missed it a couple times. also the one on the cliff face near the fort, i found that location but i needed the internet to tell me where to find the actual treasure. although i might have found it eventually, but i got impatient because i kept falling to my death while searching for it.
Reminds me of a train wreck also near fort Wallace. It has gold in one of the wagons but 1) this wreckage is easy to miss in the first place, and 2) getting the gold is quite a challenge. You have to climb rocks in order to get into that wagon and easily fall to death. But seriously, when I first heard of that old train down there i thought wth, I have been exploring that area...!
Strawberry doesn't have a saloon. I wanted to spend a little time up in those parts but I can't get drunk so pfff I'm back down south now.
Haha, even after you heard it's there its quite the search. I don't regard this a spoiler because of that. It's basically a secret.
OK I used the internet to find the house to rob, wasn't anywhere near the grizzlies so I got about 115 from there but then blew 77 on a bout robbing a doctors office in valentine lol so I had like 750 and then paid off all of my bounties hehe. So now I'm back to 400$ where I started this whole journey 2 days ago except I have no bounties and I have a new bolt action rifle and a never revolver.
Never revolver? Bolt action rifle is my fav in RDR2 online! Yeah, getting a bounty and then killing bounty hunter posses going after you will cost you Fun, but sometimes better to do right after a hard save and then not save after it. At the start of the game i did this too rigidly. Robbed the back office of the doc in Valentine multiple times because i wanted to do it the best way. Later on I just went with the flow, otherwise i wouldn't have finished singleplayer not even by now lol
So I checked out the Nintendo I was so curious about; they have them hooked up at a local tech super store - everyone in America is familiar with Best Buy I'm assuming. If you're not in America, it's just a store that has TVs and computers as well as game systems. They have refrigerators and washing machines too I think. Anyway... They had a Switch! I played Mario Kart (is it part 8? I don't remember, but I think so) for a minute or two. It's not that the game is complicated, but I couldn't figure out the controls for my cart fast enough! So, maybe I'm an idiot (probably) but I would pick up a turtle shell or something, which is meant for you to toss at opponents, and I couldn't figure out how to throw! So I set it down after a little bit. They're awfully expensive particularly for this time of year when there are so many sales and shopping deals for other consoles. The deals they had for Nintendo Switch I thought were less than stellar. So I am not getting one; at least not right now.
