it was christmas for me months back when I needed some financial backing for some hand wound guitar pickups..which is clearly because I don't trust those damn machines ^^

But I got some Bose headphones as apparently there's music and...music heard through Bose headphones. And an Eric Clapton + Jeff Beck ticket for February =]

Being a chick and that it's -20C with snowbanks to my waist, there's probably a reason good boots make good gifts.

I got Assassins Creed 2 as well. Great game if only it was more difficult )=
My girlfriend got me some glass:

Is Assassins Creed 2 better than the original? I'm thinking of getting it but I was largely underwhelmed with the first one.

Same here. I watched my husband play and really wanted to play when he finished but I was really disappointed by how boring and repetitive it was. I hear Assassins Creed 2 is a lot better but I will wait until it goes down it price.

Yeah it was definitely a major improvement. Less repetition, better graphics, more weapons+abilities, larger cities, etc.
BUT there is no way to change the difficulty there is only one, and it is childishly easy.(Just like the first one) So it is fun, but it is not challenging. I still like the scenery and the assassinating.

Yeah, pretty much. Easy but so much fun. Blows the old one away.

I liked that there was more story going on. The variety of missions and odd stuff like growing your Villa and changing your clothes, gave it a hint of rpgvibe
