    Not where I'm from! ;) They (the kids and parents) are all pretty much equally as bad as one another when it comes to politeness and manners here.

    Robert A. Heinlein said that the decline of ordinary social manners was the first sign of the fall of a civilization. He stated that manners were the lubricant that kept society running. I do not know myself but Heinlein was a smart man.
