What has been the highlight of your day so far?

Sitting in my new room, surrounded by new things...listening to the waves crashing on the beach...

Seriously, it doesn't get much better

 

hmmm It WAS writting a post on another forum about how safe and secue I feel because my fiance takes care of me...now not so much...

 

picked a cake for the wedding and got my ring today.

visited mom in hospital.

pneumonia appearently.

she is 89. 90 next year if she's still with us then.

I turned 21 at midnight while I was at work. My boss let me leave early so I could buy beer before they stopped selling it. So the highlight of my day was buying my first ever legal beer, and I didn't even get carded

 

I started school yesterday. I felt like a little kid walking around with my backpack-had my lunch packed in my little cooler (unfortunately, I HAVE TO eat 3 meals a day OR ELSE!), and I went to my classes and met some awesome people. It was a very inspiring, scary day, but I liked it!

 

Best of luck to you. I hope all goes well for her and I hope you still have a few years with her. She's in our prayers.

 

Going to this big international horse show with my partner's mum and our dogs! It was so much fun, we did a lot of shopping, eating and watched some dressage which was wicked cool. AND my pup behaved herself so well, she's getting so good playing with other dogs and she's lots more obedient and understands what I say to her. She's such a good pup. Yeah anyhoo... today has been so much fun.

 

Waking up and in the momentary fog of not being quite awake I thought it was the weekend. It has been downhill from there.

 

oh. ouch. i'm chatting with my mom while she wanders around looking for her coffee. she's talking to herself. it's cute.

 

It's pretty early. I think breakfast has been the high point of my day so far.

 

It's destined to rally because my weekend starts tomorrow... four day work weeks have their benefit.
