What have YOU done for the animals today?

    I dont eat any.
    I dont buy any products tested on animals.
    Any dairy I buy is from organic cruelty free brands that I have checked into.
    I boycott Red Nose Day (the funds raised goes to a pharmacutical company that tests on animals in order to find a reason for SIDS)
    My pets are always from the shelter.
    I never swat flies of mosquitoes or kill spiders despite my absolute fear of them
    And I always move snails off the footpath so no-one steps on them (something which even fellow vegies have ridiculed me for:( )

    I know thats not very active but I try my best.

    I just spent 6 hours of my day OFF touring the community learning about fragmented urban prairie dog habitat and the cause of the black-footed ferret. I have to admit, taking pix of one of 200 known animals is a rush.
    THe article will be on the paper's site late this week (Thurs/ Fri, I hope)

    i move snails too[​IMG] esp if i see one trying to get away from wet ground, i'll help it to dry ground and then lay some food scraps out for it.

    i move snails far away from my garden. I'd rather feed the rabbits.
