Today it’s been raining and I had to run to the store and I went barefoot like always and wow I got a lot of looks and had a lot of people ask me where are my shoes and I tell them I don’t wear shoes and one of the employees said that he never wears shoes he’s barefoot all year around and the people were amazed a great day to go barefoot today the rain felt so good on my bare feet.
Went for an hour walk barefoot, something I haven't done in a while. Then grabbed a book and headed out to the garden feeling the mulch under my feet. It was fantastic.
I love that feeling and I love cutting my lawn barefoot and I love the feeling that fresh cut grass feels underneath my bare feet
I had some running around to do this morning and I really love driving barefoot and I went to a few places barefoot no problem it’s a little bit cooler today but still great barefoot weather
In order to not loose the foot toughening I acquired last summer and fall I chose to go barefoot as often as safe and practical to do last winter. I know Illinois weather, I grew up in northern Illinois. Central Ky is not nearly as cold so in the morning I would walk out to the car across the blacktop as long as the temperature was above 20 F. I would then drive barefoot and would even walk barefoot in the grass when temperatures got into the mid 30’s. As for shoes I rarely wore socks and my feet were never cold. I find my feet are now more cold conditioned as well as rough surfaces. What part of Illinois are you in?
I mowed my lawn and then I went to the movies and I went barefoot to the movies and mowed my lawn and string trimmed in my bare feet.
I had a very public barefoot day. As I mentioned in another post I shopped barefoot at Harbor Freight. After that I went to Shoe Carnival to look for sandals for those cultural expectations times. Didn’t find any I liked. Next, I went to a mall to check a few other stores and found nothing. So I walked all around the mall barefoot and nobody seemed to notice, at least no one reacted. Then I saw a place that gave massages in the mall so I got a 30 minute foot massage. That was amazing. Oh, I made a pit stop at two public bathrooms, they were clean.
Well today I went into a Speedway convenience store gas station to get a quick lunch. While waiting for the pizza to cook the manager approached me and said I couldn’t be in the store barefoot that it was a health department rule, they even had a small sign on the door stating no barefeet health department. I informed him that health departments do not regulate clothing or shoes and that there is no such legal prohibition. He didn’t except my argument but he did sell me the pizza. I am going to contact the corporate office and ask their policy and inform them they are permitting one of their stores to post an illegal sign.
I had to go to Walmart to get a couple of things and my soles got a little bit dirty I wish they were dirtier
I went to Walmart to pickup my medication here’s a couple pictures of my bare feet at the pharmacy and the parking lot
Today I worked from home, barefoot of course! The same as I did yesterday and will do tomorrow In fact this is my fifth day continuous barefoot! Certainly not looking forward to the day after tomorrow when I have to go into the office and wear shoes again Maybe I will just wear my Sperry deck shoes without socks to "soften the blow"!
I did some yard work barefoot today and my bare feet got a little bit dirty I just wish they would have gotten dirtier
