i remenber when i got caught my mom just slapped the shit out of me ..thats all ..but fuck parents and their "anti anything that alters ur mind state" dont they drink at parties ..beying drunk is wasy worse than beying stoned,dont they smoke cigarettes to calm down..dont they do a lil cocaine b4 sex...UHHH!!!

 

dude my rents are totally fucked. first of all they are fundamentalist christians (my dad goes by Reverend aka pastor) and extreme right wing rush limbaugh, bill o'rielly listeners, and my mom is just alot bent (totally fucking INSANE!!!). i remember when i was busted and my dad brought me up in front of the whole church and had them pray for his "hopless drug-addicted son"!!!!!!!!!! dude and my mom when i was cleaning my room freaked out on me because my music was "satanic and way too loud" so she threw a sleeping bag out my second floor window (through the screen) and proceeded to try and PUSH ME OUT OF THE WINDOW!!! saying "your sleeping outside tonight!"

 

Shit man thats pretty crazy. I genuinely feel bad for you.

I'm glad I don't have to go through that with my parents. Although, they have NOOOO idea i smoke. I don't think they'd be that crazy though.

My mom said it was okay for me to do pot. I told her i did pot for the first time; and she was like; "so how was it?" and i told her; "i got very paranoid." My dad even used to grow pot in our closet in this weird thing, i mean, smoking pot must be some kind of family tradition for us...

 

It doesn't really have anything to do with religion. People make it that way. I grew up a Southern Baptist and I smoke... and I know reverends that smoke. I tend to prefer ideas of Universal Unitarianism sometimes, though. It's God's herb and more people should look at all things that grow from the Earth that way and start realizing what and what isn't processed. Processed things can do no good... it's like a trick or some kind of scam. I mean, why do you need to process food or tobacco or anything anyway.... to rule out all the inconsistancies, make things addictive, and add chemicals and shit to them...


Not saying I don't consume non-processed items, but I used to have an ital diet and I'm starting to get back into that whole state of mind again.

The first conversation I ever had with my parents concerning cannabis was about reasons why it should be legalized. I grew up around pot and never thought of it anything other than NORML till the D.A.R.E. classes in Elementary. And even then, my D.A.R.E. instructer was my cousin who I've seen get high with my dad. I was raised to respect the laws that are in place, no matter how bogus they are, and work keep everything below radar. Because when you don't respect the law, even the retarded ones, it can fuck up a lot of shit for you.

Facts on the plants history of legality and ligitimacy, seem to be more convincing to anti-cannabis...ers than its effects. Mainly because it effects people in different ways, and is all debatible. If you are trying to convince someone, stick to proven facts and be careful when it comes to opinionated or interperatle sources.

A couple quick facts that turn heads:
*There was a time in America that you could pay your taxes with either Hemp or money.
*For a short period of time if an American owned more than 60 acres of land, he was required by law to grow hemp. Possible prison time in Virginia (I think was the right state, don't quote me....look it up yourself).
*George Washington, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and many more of our forfathers openly grew hemp and cannabis.
