What Is God?

Plus, a lot would not consider their lives a dream, more a nightmare they wish to wake from. I wish people would be more realistic, rather than choose to live in a fake reality. To dream is great but that makes it harder to survive when reality hits.

 

what is god,god is a idea.A idea that was created by the weak,to help them cope with the unknown.for all we know you or i could be god and the whole world centers around us .There is no way to prove 100% that we exiest or that were not an organic semiconductor for some giant computer.

to me there is no god people think there is good and evil true there is good and evil but being evil sometimes is not a bad thing just depends on what you do that is evil.

if god made humans and all the planets and the Solar System then you would have to think there has to be aliens what they look like who knows they can maybe look just like us.

i'am no alien freak but when you think about it, space is soo big how can there only be 1 planet with living things on it? god is just like holidays people just made them up.

with someone making up there is a god they can just gain power to control some people. like with the middle eastern people they believe in Islamic and that they get 90 or something Virgins when they die.

so its like if you kill yourself doing this you get Virgins when you die so its ok to kill yourself they think. thats the kind of power they have over there people, the people who dont believe in that can gain power and be rich as hell and not worry about nothin.

 

God is different for all people. He's something and nothing. A power and a farce. Whatever people believe, as long as they don't put their ideas onto others, people should be free to say and believe what they want.

 

how true, i said that to my friend and she got so fucking pissed at me, and so did my girlfriend. haha but its true, who made god? why would god sacrifice his sons life? she told me i should read the bible but if i cant even read Haryy Potter without geting confused and pissed then fuck that.

but everyone who believes in some kind of god does push it on to other people. like there kids they force them to believe in it, then they try and get other people to believe kinda like the mormons.

WELL< CONSIDERING "God" is a man-made concept, (man wrote the bible, man wrote about god, man discusses god - but no man actually sees or interacts with god), how can it be supernatural? beyond the beyond?


....plus how do you know there was no beginning? maybe that's your supernatural phenomena - maybe time itself never begun but has always been. and then read up on the scientific Big Bang theory for the creation of planets, life, evolution, etc etc.

and here's another thing to bake your noodle - dinosaurs. that one word is kind of missed out of the bible. and dinosaurs obviously had a role on earth, be it to kill or be killed (which is an ungodly concept - so why did "god" create these creatures?)

there is no god. and if there is - then i don't want to know coz he's fuckin it all up.

 

like, im not trying to be disrespectful to anyone by saying this. and i myself dont really know which way to swing when it comes to if there is a god or not.
but i was thinking that other day, that jesus was just some guy with random beleifs back then.
i mean if someone these days run around town to town making up a story about how the world started, no ones gonna beleive him.
why was back then an acception?

 

and furthermore i've read that there were over 30 people claiming to be the messiah during jesus's age. It was commonplace......the big J was NOTHING SPECIAL

 

I think that God is whatever we make it and s/he/it can only exist if we believe in s/he/it. This also goes for my meaning of life thing-whatever you make of it, it is.

Let's face it, the likelyhood that one concept of (a) God, amongst so many differing concepts, is correct, is microscopic. Who's the lucky one that's right?

How the universe 'happened', we are unlikely to know for many millenia to come. Meantime, the God-mongers sell us on the latest flavour, to gain power. It's a laugh, snake-oil salesmen trying to turn a buck.

How was the universe formed? Who the fuck knows. How could nothingness exist if there was no universe? Who the fuck knows. We have no hope in ever coming close to figuring it all out. We simply don't know enough, by far.

Live by not destroying. Live positively, adding value to your surroundings. You can't go far wrong. Even the Christians' God of Wrath shoudn't chuck you in hell for that.

God exists for those who want something to believe in and it also makes people feel better, that there's a reason for all those bad things that happen. (There's not of course) But "god" says there is so they believe it.
