Once slept in the metal quanset building of a grain elevator on bags of seed at 3 am after walking 7 miles because a buddy left me to go fuck some skank.
Yeah, I was rudely awakened just before dawn by a bad thunderstorm that came through. Lightning hit the top of the 200 foot grain tower next to the building I was in. My heart jumped out of my chest I think.
The stranger place I ever slept was under the sink in a ladies room when I was hitchhiking to California.
i know i mentioned the construction site when it was shut down at night, not sure i mentioned the basement of the museum that had been a library, don't remember if i mentioned the short abondond mine shaft, next to a public hiking trail i frequently took mid-day naps on hot days when it was nice and cool inside. i think i may have mentioned similar summer refuge taken inside a storm drain that was always dry in hot weather. momma mouse and her babies curled up next to me in there. also i painted murals on the inside of it. wonder if anyone ever saw them.
