What is the topic you most loathe talking about?

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have pegged you as any certain faith, but I surely would've thought you to be a spiritual guy.

Don't know why, but that's just always how I've pictured you, I guess.

 

I'm a hard-boiled, second-generation atheist and a materialist. :cheers2: I also loathe talking about morality. Sentences starting with thou shall, should, ought, right, wrong...make me run away in desperation. When a girl I'm flirting with describes herself as "spiritual", I go hide in the bushes.

 

That's one of the funniest fuckin things I've heard in a while.

And I'm fairly inclined to say I haven't had that problem, but if I did, I would follow suit my friend.

 

No kidding. I'd date a catholic no problem, but anyone who describes themselves as 'spiritual not religious'...

And for me it would be my past. Anytime anyone starts asking about my childhood. I don't really want to talk about it.

Religion and economics. People tend to disagree with my views and try to pimp their own on me.

 

Although I enjoy it, my job.

 

What I did in the past two weeks to find a job.

 

politics, because everyone sounds like a douchebag when they talk politics.

religion, because i think everyone's beliefs are weird as hell, and mine are even weirder. and because by stating what i truly believe, i sound narrowminded and set in my ways, just like everyone else does. i believe in what i do very strongly, but don't expect anyone else to accept it, nor do i disrespect their ideas even if i think mine are better (for me)

also being totally honest about myself. i'm rarely honest about me with me, and its harder to be honest about me with someone else.


so i generally just avoid addressing my thoughts on these topics specifically or in any depth. if it comes up, i often skirt around the issue, unless its with very close, trusted friends. or on here, because i care less if i sound like an ass here than with people i know "in the real world."

 

I feel comfortable discussing any topic with certain people.

I don't like arguing about any of the topics most of you mentioned though.

Other than sports. I'd argue the shit out of you about sports.

Food, war, environment and economy are great topics that I like to discuss and learn more about, it's just when people try to force their opinions on me..... Eh, I don't like it.
