not exactly that but its close to what id love to have

i want a 23window sunroof deluxe bus with that paint(palm green/sand green). that one is only 14windows but those are all safari windows which is awesome...i love buses haha. im still very happy i have my 72 bus but cant beat a split window bus, they are just so awesome

i cant help it haha i just love old vw's...i want so many different ones but that is the one that ive wanted forever so i figured that qualifys as #1 dream car haha

id also like a mini cooper, the new ones are cool but i like the older one more...just something about them seem fun haha

i might actually get one pretty damn soon so me and my grandpa have time to work on it.

 

the 72 i have now has the bed/sink in the back and a pop top with another bed up top. the sink/fridge section i took out though because the wood was rotted and it was falling apart

 

bleh.. get yourself a regular cargo van and build in the bed/kitchen... you don't need the police harassing you because you are driving a "hippie van"

 

just converting any van just isnt the same i dont think...id still enjoy it and it'd be cool but i just love old vw's. they are just more fun i think and a lot simplier to fix. i drive my 72 around all the time and havent had any problems with police cept when i got pulled over for my taillight being out and the first thing they asked was if i had any drugs in the car haha

edit. i think the ones that get harassed are the ones that are all crazy painted with flowers and such but if you drive one thats just nicely restored i dont think you'd have any problems. i know a lot of people that have really nice ones and have never had any trouble with the police because of them

I think i want something in the early 70's. When i first get it i'm going to sleep in it for a month. and hot box it every day. (just kidding... i'll wait until it's done)

then after i get through the intial 'HOLY COCK I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE', (i've wanted one since i was little), i'm going to fix it up with my grandpa.

 

72's are nice but probably arent a good year to have since theirs a lot of parts in it that were just made on the 72's

also, not sure if you are aware but anything after 1967 doesnt have the split windows in the front or the safari pop out windwos all over, they are much different looking buses

 

I had my dream car a 72 VW Beetle Cal looker, had a few probs with the engine and coldnt afford to fix, so had to sell

Now I want a VW mini Van they look soooo cute

Its kinda cheesy, but I used to drive a Subaru Legacy and loved that car, my dream car would be its turboed big sister the Legacy B4 RSK. Its plenty flashy enough for me and I could drive it to ski mountains!
