Dune, that’s my favorite book but the 1984 movie Directed by David Lynch and starring Kyle MacLachlan, Virginia Madsen, and Francesca Annis, leaves a lot to be desired. BTW I’ve read every dune book ever published :book: Hotwater
being entertained is NOT one of my favorite things to do, which is why i don't actually have one particular favorite movie. nor own a television. thought there are some things i like watching on you tube. things which you never really see on tv or in movies. not even THOSE kind of movies. sorry they don't involve human bodies. nor even humans directly at all. which is probably WHY they're not often featured in entertainment outlets, and then almost only ever negatively. mostly these have to do with trains, and generally infrastructure and other artifacts that don't involve the automobile. creating and exploring are the basic common denominator of all sapient gratification. even sex and money are ancilliary to them. as for things i enjoy doing, that too, is a somewhat long list, and attempting to list them i am bound to overlook some of their subtilties of variation. at any rate, if this is tl, well, i've already posted my short answers on the first page of this thread.
thought of some favoruite films and I am sure i will think of more.... Breakfast at tiffany's....and mostly due to theme song Moon River The Pianist Elvis in a film with little girl at some big fair...cannot remember the title of the film at the moment and another film i cannot remember title of....I think Ava Gardner was in it....a monsoon...or hurricane in some foreign country is all I remember about it, but images to that stick with me, too...must research what these films are.
Blue Dunno Soup, homemade, all kinds, especially tomato. I could just eat soup for days. Don't have one. But I especially liked Before the Rain, La vita e bella, Babette's feast, The Seventh Seal, Armin, Melancholia, Der Himmel über Berlin, Time of the Gypsies...to name a few. Pilates, if that counts. I wish you also asked about favorite books. Edit: Out of Africa. What a movie. Meryl Streep can play anything and anyone. Love her.

I need to check out some of those movies you said, Piaf....I am not sure i recognize any of them I can add that I love trains and ocean liners....
