130 is genius... 100 is average and 15 is the standard deviation, thus 85-115 is average, 115-130 is high average, and above 130 is genius. same way on the below average side.

of course, on most of the internet ones i would look for at least 175 before i consider anyone a genius there...

But IQ tests are just pattern recognition. In general smarter people are better with pattern recognition. But it's not the sum of intelligence.

I think people who depend on this are generally very insecure in some aspect of themselves. More so then people who brag about how pretty they are.
