for some reason when i did mushrooms the last time i did them.... i got this strange notion that my friend should put electrical tape on my arms just a band around my right bicept and my left forearm. in the middle of the tripp i was having a hard time distinguishing reality from insanity at that point it was like hansel and grettle dropping bread crumbs. i knew i had to be real and alive still because i could see the tape and i knew i put the tape on before i even ate the mushrooms. i don't know if that story was at all relevant but that's my take on reality. =]

okay say that you've got a blank sheet of paper then you draw a circle in the middle of it. Inside the circle vs outside the circle.. what's the difference? There isn't one. It's still the same sheet of paper. It's a totally arbitrary boundary that doesn't really mean anything. I kinda think that's how we are. Inside your skin vs outside your skin.. what does it mean? we're all still part of the same universe. Made of the same fundamental particles. Consciousness, emotion, memory.. all based on physical/chemical reactions.. all part of the same universe.
