I was going to make a joke about genital mutilation while your balls were wearing a clown mask.

But in a more serious tone, my former roomate was from the DRC. His family lived in luxury, and his wifes even more so.

But it is home to a war for the past decade.

This war, the second Congolese civil war, is the worst war in the history of the world, since World War 2.

Some of the murders are completly racially based, as world war 2 was. It is the home to the largest diaspora population in the world. And simply reading several books about the experiences of regugess would give even the most hardcore among us (BSR) nightmares.

 

I haven't had nightmares in a long time.
