Spanish - took it for 4 years throughout junior and senior high school.. my cousin, i consider him a brother though, is part mexican.. and well it was either spanish or german and really had no interest in german..
Polish - I am Polish, i want to know my roots and i want to learn my native tongue, and visit Poland
Haitian/Creole - very very interesting language.. also i love Haitian/Creole type foods
Italian - Totally for culinary reasons.. i would like to go to culinary school one day, but like you said.. costs money and culinary schools are on the high end of that money issue when it comes to higher education.. plus its a romance language..
Hindi - somewhat a spiritual reasoning i guess... wouldn't mind visiting India either..
Thai - Love Thai food.. would be interesting to travel there too once..
