who says testemony is about hardship?
your life could be perfect but when you find god its even better

 

From what I've seen this is a false statement ...

I've have peace and joy that exceeds description from not knowing Jesus ...

So, I have "No Jesus" in my life, and "yes peace"
I don't "Know Jesus", yet I "Know Peace"

I see lots of folk who "Know Jesus" and have absolutely "no peace", and no joy !

thats not really what i eman...but i eman, like i had found God last spring and then was resaching religions and stuff, and then found nothing that really fit what i beleivd, so i just sort of adopted from Christainty and Hare Krishan and lots of other things...i noticd then as i was preaying, that i was praying to solely Jesus more and more, and it didnt feel wrong, my friends probboly influenced me a bit, along with the people on ths forum, but then i just found myself lying one night in bed [where i always just think] and i had an epiphany and Jesus was The Way for me, and yeah...basically it

 

I believe that what you have said is the false statement. You do NOT have the peace of knowing that you will go to heaven when you die. You do NOT have the peace of knowing what it is like to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. You do NOT have the peace of knowing that your sins are forgiven. Of course the devil is going to make you content right now, he wants you to go to hell and he doesn't care what kind of life you have right now. The only Christians that don't have peace are the ones who are not living right for the Lord. The Lord will chasten them for it because He loves them and sees the bigger picture.

 

In the past, I was under the impression that I knew Jesus, yet, possessed no peace. When I had actually found him, I found the peace I had so whole-heartedly desired.

Just because someone attends church, reads their Bible and prays, does not mean they know Jesus.

 

What makes you think a person can only be at peace if he thinks he is going to heaven when he dies? That's a bit assumptive if you ask me...

Oh wait...let's blame Satan, it seems like the master of the christian cop-out.

 

The reason is that they know that they will NOT go a burning hell forever.

Why live your life in order to attain an uncertain goal? You don't know heaven exists. Living in peace and contentment can be being a good person while not worrying about what happens in the future.

Your religion is only a belief, so don't try and frighten people into doing good. True happiness comes from a life of compassion and value. Not preparing yourself for after you die. But that's just my view, think what you want.

 

All I can say is ... I'm glad you know me so well. Perhaps you are me in disguise. Perhaps what's been going on here is I'm experiencing moments of black-outs where I come online using the pseudonym XFRODOBAGGINSX. How else can you know me, know how I think, know how I feel, unless you're really me? Granted, you can speculate if you are not me, but then that's all it will ever be is speculation.

And I leave with this ... Dude, you are so full of yourself ... You are the one who has NO peace. No joy. You pretend to know this one you call Christ, yet your very actions say otherwise. You are this Devil you speak of. Even the Devil can go around preaching the word of your God. So this is what and who you are. You are the master of sin, the father of lies ... I see you for who you really are. It's unfortunate that others can't as well.

Let's see what the bible says about this and determine who is true and who is not.

Php 3:9 ¶ And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

You deny Jesus Christ as your Savior, therefore you are the one who is fooled of the devil.

 

Question for people who have said their testimony. Is it easier to let others know it once you let everything just pour out of you onto paper? I've kept so much bottled up that pertains to it that I don't think I could just open myself up without letting myself let it go.

P.S. most doctrines say that you can not condemm those who never learned.

The bible also says to kill homosexuals. Why don't you do that?

 

"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." (Leviticus 20:13)

It states that they shall be put to death, not to take it upon oursevles to put them to death. The word of the Lord goes on to say that those who are in Jesus Christ have eternal life, and those without him have death. Thus, they will not have eternal life, they will taste death.

I guess the difference between Christianity and religion is that, as a christian, you actually have a RELATIONSHIP with God, you ask him for a miracle he'll give you a miracle; if you ask him for a healing, he'll give you a healing; if you ask him for a scripture about something; he'll give you a scripture. Religion is for those who are to afraid to face the Lord themselves, and don't have a relationship (hey, Budha ain't gonna save ya'.) Don't think you'll get to heaven through your own works.

And we don't think heaven exist, we KNOW heaven exists.

Once again you are misquoting the scripture. That is not what the bible is saying. The fact is that the bible does command the Jews to put them to death. Under the law, that is what they did. We are no longer under the law, but we are under grace. We are not to kill homosexuals, but to love them and pray for them, just like everyone else. They need to repent of their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ to save them. God loves them and wants to save them.

 

I am sorry, but as usual, you are sadly mistaken. Please pray for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so that you can fully understand the meaning of scripture and discontinue to give me your own personal interpretation.

 

Those are some pretty hefty claims. Give me any proof, any proof at all, that there is a god, a heaven, and any evidence of your religion being true. Plenty of people ask for miracles and healing and don't get it, and who cares about scripture.

I'm sorry to tell you, but christianity is indeed a religion. It is based on a book and periodical worship just like others, and has nothing to back it up.

You don't know anything. It is completely impossible to be sure of anything(except this one fact), and that I can prove. Prove to me you exist. Prove to me your mental processes are more than bits in a computer. Human senses are not perfect, and since they are of biological nature, they can be easily fooled. God talking to you is more likely some waking (or sleeping) dream. Your churches whip people into a euphoric frenzy, giving them small highs, easily interpreted as the holy spirit (while leaving them more susceptible to the power of suggestion). You do not know heaven exists. You may think it. You may believe it with every ounce of your being. But you do not know it. There are plenty of people around who believe they're from space, too.
