Well I would like to think I dressed smartly and presented myself quite well. I think I have just been brainwashed by people saying "It's because of your dreads" heh
I'm going to start substitute teaching. I used to work at dhhq...don't hate me. I USED to work there. I had enough sense to leave.
I am a teacher. I keep them pulled back at work and I try to dress nicely so that they don't become a problem.
I think it's easier for women. Eccentric hair has always been acceptable, even encouraged at times, for the females of Western culture. I teach, but I wear a hat. I tell them the hat is for religious reasons, and only about 10 people I work with even know I have my hair locked.
