What made you become a liberal or a con?

I dunno, I grew up in Midland Texas which is Bush country, and looking around I always sorta knew they were wrong politically just as a hunch and maybe to be radical. In my formative years I flirted around with Libertarianism, which was a perfectly reasonable philosophy for a 15 year old boy, but as I grew up and wrote essays about my political views, particularly one involving Texas government, defending a regressive tax code which provides nothing for its citizens and has some of the worst public health and education seemed illogical.

I'm honestly a pessimist, and think we should surrender the government to robot control as soon as possible.
