good band names: Black Sabbath Blue Oyster Cult Creedence Clearwater Revival Iron Maiden Judas Priest Muse The Youngbloods Bad band names: AC/DC cake Golden Earring Jedi Mind Tricks Megadeth (I always thought it sounded cheesy.. like they were trying to hard) The postal service Queen (as much as I love queen.. bad name for a rock band) scary kids scaring kids
That's an interesting one - looked at critically it'd seem to be too long, too unwieldy and what the hell does it mean ? Doesn't invoke any kind of music for me. On the other hand, this is the first time I've ever questioned it. Another example of a name becoming kind of universally accepted through familiarity perhaps...
haha.. I just always like the sound and thought it had a unique flow to it. I don`t really know what to think after this..
On balance I think they chose the right one Bad Moon Rising by Gossamer Wump just doesn't have the same ring to it...
