Actually, I think he did suggest that moderation is the key to healthy eating. I mean, he liked to eat ham, bacon, beef, etc. But would never think of eating any of those three times a day. His point about McDonald's was that the whole "Super Size" me idea was a totally unhealthy thing. Nobody needs that much sugar and fat. Yet there are people that actually do eat fast food more than once a day, and they are becoming morbidly obese. I guess a little moderation can go a long way?

sure hes biased, but people use that to discredit everything in his movies... sure some points he make are off, or not exactly what he makes them out to be... but that doesnt mean you should ignore the whole movies points, and say michael moore is a fat idiot... You should be able to look at his movies, and be able to take points from it.. just because its biased doesnt mean it doesnt have any truth to it... Michael moore makes good points in some cases, and in other cases his points are heavily biased and distorted facts... but you cant rule out everything. Ruling out everything is what a lot of the morons do, when they want to run from the truth... or if they fear that they've done something wrong... like elect bush, or tolerate the american government.

 

Too Many people who watch it are lazy and follow the film like it is fair and honest.. How do people know if it is biased or the information is not correct if they firstly don't look into the issues themselves..

See imho that is unfair and biased.. why do i think that because i looked into such things before hand and came to a opinion that it is untrue in many many many ways... Am i right or wrong in my assumption ? You clearly would disagree... round and round we would go . So yeah i don't mind films like this , it is when peoples arguements are based on such information and they have never looked any further..or ignore any alternative perspectives. It suits them to believe it all because it seems being anti war / anti iraq war anti Bush is the correct mentality.. But heck i suppose i am fool?.

I AM NOT calling anyone ignorant for not liking/agreeing with mike moore, some times i don't like some of the things he does. like the opening scene from farenheit 9/11 when he castized bush for not jumping to action when he was told about the attacks at the school. he was around children and he reacted how i think he should've in front of them (not freaking out as it seems moore would have liked). i am saying your ignorant if you form your opinions w/out researcing them.

moore and i do share a common idea though, bush should be removed from office asap.

Yeah, have you ever noticed how Moore's most clueless critics always have to resort to immature name calling? (How fat he is? WTF?) I mean, that really is an intelligent response. *rolls eyes* I guess we could be just as ignorant. And talk about how retarded Dubya is. And how he has the morals and ethics of a sociopath. Plus he just makes America look so BAD. But we really don't need to drag ourselves down to that pathetic level. Especially since Bush is already doing such a swell job of showing the world the type of dishonest person he truly is. He's fast becoming his own worst enemy.

Yes, Moore spins the truth. To sell movies. He's no more a hero to me than Bush. I sure the hell wouldn't want Micheal Moore for President. I think what PoetDude39, myself, and the others are trying to get across is that Georgie (and/or the ones twiddling his puppet strings) is spinning the truth too, but there's a little more at stake here than a few million box office tickets when he does it.
And you said it yourself, Moore admits it. Could you ever imagine GW admitting he fans the winds of truth in his direction sometimes, or more applicatory, has no idea what the truth may even be?
Yes, as I inferred in my first post, I was never ready to hang onto every syllable emanating from Mike's quasi-authentic and sometimes overly-proletarian lips. I knew he was out to make a buck, like every one else. At least he does a very good job of doing what he sets out to do - raise questions that need to be raised. GeeDubya, on the other hand, is screwing everyone he can right into the ground for himself and his supporters. He could care less about the peoples' questions, concerns, or even any solutions they may have. I'm really not sure what is driving him to do this, his warped sense of religion, money, power, who knows. The point is, neither one of these men deserve to be in office. Micheal knows his place, Bush I doubt will ever have a clue.
I can satisy myself I made the right choice to audition yet another Micheal Moore documentary, however biased or fanatical it may have headed on occasion. I will probably never have a clue how Bush got a second chance to screw the American people over.

 

After reading everyone's opinions & reviews it just makes me want to see the movie even more. I will keep them in mind, Thank You all.

Ha ha. very well said. It's our day and age of extreme polarities that keeps us from communicating. This thread has done a good job of navigating the polar landscape and pointing out the common ground. Personally I think that's where we should all be navigating. Any somewhat semi intelligent person (wait a minute, intelligent and conscienscous, sans agenda dictate, pro people) could view this movie of f911 and have at least a few wtf's. those big WTF's lead to interesting and much more detailed facts about the state of the (us and world) nation and it's manipulators. Hey did you know tha Osama was a carpenter too?

 

I have not seen the movie because I have just had no desire to do so. I've seen enough anti-Bush propaganda, and pro-Bush propaganda for that matter, to last awhile. I'm burnt out on it. I'd rather have pure information that I don't have to pick through to find tidbits of facts. One should question everything, even if it's already strongly against the popular opinion.

Michael Moore does an excellent job of exposing terrorists like George W. "Brainhole" Bush and why there is so much violence in the world today. That's why he was made an honorary guide by the Raelian Movement.
