My dad has been in Bootsy Collins' (of Funkadelic) house before a couple of times, and even at a time got his phone number. Bootsy lives in Indian Hill (beside Cincinnati, Ohio) which isn't too far from where I live.
Sweet. I don't know a lot about the band. I should. I know about "play like your momma just died" and Hazel, but not much else.
If you haven't already, check out Selassie is the Chapel. Poor quality, but that sorta adds to the Wailers mystique. My favorite is Peter Tosh singing "The Letter". He does some improvising with the lyrics. Originally done by the Box Tops.
