What's sad is the fact that the guy who actually wrote this commited suicide after Sheryl Crow fucked him and the rest of the guys who wrote that album out of royalties.

The name of the album was "Tuesday Night Music Club". The Tuesday Night Music Club was a group of professional songwriters in LA who would get together every Tuesday night and go over songs they wrote in the past week critique each other etc. They also recorded demos and needed a singer to record them. Sheryl Crow was a professional back up singer so she came in and sang on the demos then shopped them for a record deal as her own "original" songs.

One of these songwriters was depressive as you can tell by those lyrics. The combination of the royal fucking he was getting combined with hearing his songs everywhere pushed him over the edge.

As for my sources one of my friends knew the guy.
