you know, this thread has gone on too long for me to read it. but i will state (with the understanding that someone may have said so before) that happiness IS in fact an unusual state of being. it's just one of hundreds of such states human beings have. enjoy it while it lasts, don't worry too much when it doesn't. the only people who are happy all the time are crazy people. such a craziness would probably be nice. me, i'm holding out for an inability to stop having orgasms at inopportune times.
