Crayola you are very pretty. What the hell do I do? LOL!!!!! Sometimes I say "What the hell am I doin'"? Well, I am an OVER TIME Mommy, which means I am with my children from son up till son down. lol. I can't help give you any career choices psyche. I can say though that this is what I chose to do. I knew when I had children I would be home with them. Believe it or not, it is the most challengin' but rewardin' job I will ever have.
Tip from the bird: always follow your heart. I followed my heart and ended up doing nothing and I enjoy it.
I work at Starbucks and a Salon...I plan on going to a stage make-up and advanced cosmetology course in the near future. I say follow your heart...
no, i didn't exactly end up where i thought i would. i went to college a couple of years, changed majors several times, then dropped out and went to cosmetology school for a while. right now i am a direct sales represtenative for a cosmetic company, and a stay at home wife. i love it. i like all that cheesy martha stewart housekeeping bullshit, and my schedule allows me to help take care of my mother, who is ill, and also to volunteer at the animal shelter, something that i am passionate about.i am looking forward to staying home with my children, when i have them, and possibly homeschooling.
last thing i did was i worked at a drug and alcohol treatment center for teens.. it was very tough, but rewarding.i do not want to make it my career though. im hopefully starting school in Jan for either fashion design or interior design, must be something creative. i already make cloths http:/crystalstarrdesigns.hipplant.com
If you can find a way to either get a job or start a business pertaining to whatever your hobbies are, you're all set. Every job I've ever had has been related to things I enjoy doing. Take a few classes or certification courses along the way to jack up your salary. I definitely recommend a personal finance class too. It's good to know how to keep your money instead of the government doing so. Unless you plan on dropping out.
I am in the middle of a BA Hons in Philosophy and Film/Media Studies. I don;t know what I'll do... maybe get my MA, get into journalism (for now I have to content myself with out little student paper) and travel...I'd like to be the editor of a magazine or paper at some stage... but that's all in the far off future
I organize projects, mostly related to manufacturing and product development etc......its not what i thought i would do, I've had lots of jobs in the past.....I tried to do what really interested me, archaeology, film...but found that I wasn't getting paid much, so i decided to do this for a while and do the real passions I had on the side, like playing in a band and taking pictures etc. Your degree does not really lock you into any particular field, I find that i rarely am asked what i majored in.
