Its not nearly as bad as most of the pop stuff though, in fact, i bet 40% of all people like it but won't admit it

Yeah, and The Postal Service, not really sure if you'd consider them synth-pop...I usually just say indie pop...but yeah..

 

well both those bands are a little more heady than the Thompson Twins, but I think they are an influence down there somewhere.

Saw the Faint once, it was a good show.

 

Awesome, I haven't really heard much from The Faint. One of my friends got a burnt CD that had some of their songs on it and let me listen to Agenda Suicide and Dropkick The Punks and I pretty much fell in love instantly. It'd be great to go to a faint show, but yeah...I get to see NIN in October, so I'm really excited about that.
