Yesterday was a big shopping day for me.....We are looking for a new couch for the TV room down here. I want thick leather......so I can wipe any dog piss off it it this time. Champy started ruining the upholstered couch here when he was alive and everyone followed. Spanky spent a lot of time on it before he died....and i want it out of here.....6-7 years is long enough for this smelly, sticky couch now, which i have to keep covering with different blankets and sheets I can wash while it is still here.....Anyway, there is a refurbished place near here with lots of great stuff and new stuff coming in every day, so I went there to look for a couch....they had leather, but sectional reclining couch...no, thanks....so an animal can go underneath, while someone reclines it or closes it and gets hurt? no.....so I passed......but I did find a practically new rug that is a masterpiece........almost new......thick green with pink flowers and other colors wool pile.......and cotton backing. One day, I will put it in the tv room...not now...until dogs stop pissing on things...I have 3 other rugs they can ruin first. this is the best rug I ever saw.......and I have seen rugs like this in NYC for thousands before and never had one...It is 8x10....big and so heavy that I cannot lift it alone.......I got it for $50.00...wow....plus a blue sturdy end table....Tiffany's colored blue...so beautiful for $30.00....I also went to Kohl's for the last day we had a 30% off of anything...and found brown sneaker shoes by Sketchers.............fuzzy warm stuff inside....Vincent Van Gogh style like he painted.......love them...they we originally $70.00 on sale for $60.00 and then 30% off, I got them for $40.00 something plus a pair of dearform slippers for winter....the only slippers I really like for $16.00 originally $30.00.

i will keep looking everywhere for my perfect leather couch.
