milk and tp were the main things i went to the store for yesterday. i got a small number of other, mostly edible, odds and ends, i don't remember the whole list off hand, but at least i rememberd to get what i went for.
i was going to go to the bar b q cookoff over in sparks, but i'm sitting here and its a quarter after 3 already. still going on for the next couple of days, so i may still get around to it.

last thing i bought other then groceries, was some much too expensive art paint for some models i've been scratch building and detailing, and before that, i finally got a pair of shoes to replace my one pair that were on the verge of disintegrating entirely. 70 bux for the shoes. all they had were work boots or those damd overpriced canvas athletic things, that to me look like crap. so i got the most comfortable to me looking workboot i could find. this was in sears, where i got my previous pair of just right shoes that had lasted me for about three years. but they didn't have them any more. which was a serious disappointment.

the paint wasn't disappointing, but it was expensive. more then ten bux a bottle for liquitex soft acrilic.
what i really need is something that will go on thinner and more opaque, with a brush, water soluble when wet, to make the brushes easy to clean and maintain, but waterproof when dry.
such things exist, or almost do. though i've yet to find any sufficiently opaque.
