Grind up, Soak in Grain Alcohol for a week, strain. Haven't tested the idea yet but I keep hearing the bad toxins are in the hulls and it's supposed to be best to remove them. It's LSA though not LSD. Almost the same but Morning Glory trips always seem sporadic to me like driving in traffic (Stop/go/stop/go etc/) But perhaps I just need to make stronger batches?
Thanks for the welcome Ddoright. I hope that I'll have something of some little bit of value to add to the forum. As a "guest" I'm apparently not able to PM or reply in the Visitor Messages, so I thought I'd do it here.
I seem to remember orange barrel, window payne, all kinds of blotter, purple micro dot. We also liked to drink with acid. Could drink all night and still helleucinate like a shit My first trip was watching the boat in 68 at MUN. That was the best
Wow, I was getting ready to respond to this tread. I was browsing from the beginning. I began thinking. I was trying to recall my first acid. And the name that popped into my head (before seeing your post) was orange barrel. You are from Canada? I am from NH. Hmmmmm.... Maybe it was a Northern "A". After orange barrel, I remember purple micro-dot, LSD-25, reams of blotter construction paper, etc. During 1970, I tripped on acid (to one extent or the other) for at least 4 months. Woke up seeing trails, crashed seeing trails. I knew everything about everything.... Well, at least that's what I thought at the time. I remember listening over and over to a band named Rare Bird. One of their songs, Sympathy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXqqCNJAn4c"]YouTube - Rarebird-"Sympathy" music video
I'm waxing nostalgic here -- I remembr all those - there must have been a great distribution system. I was in Alabama. I miss those days.
purple microdot orange barrel blue barrel white double barrel strawberry blotter dont remember which was first but they were all around 1975
INHIP-hey, just listening to Rarebird-good stuff-as far as orange barrel goes, some friends used to get it in, packed in strawberry jam jars. I never did learn where it came from. One time we opened a jar and the plastic had ripped and the acid was all mixed in with the jam. Obviously we had no choice but to salvage what we could and then mix the rest into the jam. We spent the next month eating jam on toast.
We also smoked a lot of hash back then. Red lebanese, blond from morocco. Times were good, we smoked that by the boat load. I never smell that at a concert anymore. and it was cheap. $25 a quarter ounce if you were buying
After I posted the Orange Barrel comments, (memory is a fleeting thing), I also remember Orange Wedge. I don't know if anyone else here posted that type of "A". Tripping is a very unique experience. I don't recommend anyone try it. However, I've always felt I'm a more complete person for having done so. When liquid acid was available, we would dip our shirt collar tips (in front) in it and when ever we wanted to elevate, we would suck on the collar tip. This way, it would never appear as though we were "holding". Dig?
Wow, that's some inexpensive hash. I was a big hash fan. I would drink beer and wine with pot, but good brown liquor (bourbon, whiskey, scotch) with hash. Of course, back then, mixing earth drugs with "juice" was a no-no. You were either a head or a juice freak. I just enjoyed (and still do) getting fucked up.
First one was "army" something. Maybe "army green"? Followed closely by purple microdot and orange sunshine. It was 1969, maybe late '68. Somebody upthread mentioned the great Lebanese hash available back then. I heartily second that recollection. Both Red and Blonde was good stuff. If I recall correctly, we were paying about $60/ounce for hash and $20/ounce for grass. Acid was $4-$7 a hit.
The (above) price seem spot on for the dope (weed) and "A" circa 1969. I never was so lucky to have enough bread for an oz of hash. As I recall, I would purchase hash by the gram. $60/oz sounds cheap. That would work out to about $2.12 a gram. I think I was paying double that ($4 for the gram). So, I guess if you scored an oz, you could double your money. Bottom line, the best bang for the buck was $4-$7 a hit for good "A". You could always do a half hit and chase it in a couple hours for an excellent head rush. Those were the daze my friend, those were the daze.
