Why is everyone off-topic? Here, I will get us back on-topic. I beat the Baltimore Ravens 38-14 in Indianapolis. My leading offensive player was Peyton Manning, who went 29-41 for 414 yards and four TDs. On defense, rookie inside linebacker Sly Abbott had 11 tackles (4 TFL), 2 sacks, and 1 FF. Also, safety Mike Doss had 2 INTs. Next week, I face the 13-3 Buffalo Bills in Buffalo. Please wish me luck, and post about video games, as that is what this thread is about (NOT personal injury).
I kicked a door while wearing boots last year and ripped my big toenail off. Goddamn that hurt!!!! It's just about finished growing back now. Maybe another month.
I am better. The reason I went 11-5 is because third-year half back (with an over-all rating of 92) Andre Herring went down with a broken ankle for seven weeks. However, I did manage to pull off an AFC South title, as the Jaguars went 10-6, and the Titans and Texans both suffered from dismal seaons (Dwight Freeney gave David Carr a career-ending concussion in Week 2). I'm going to play the game tonight. Luckily for me, Willis McGahee is listed as Doubtful with Food poisoning (Yes, food poisoining is in this game. Fucking hilarious).
damn, broken ankle...that blows. hopefully he recovers for next season. but thats still good that you got the AFC south title. a career ending concushion...thats crazy, but understandable. that must have been a great hit. lol Willis McGahee has food poisoning...thats awesome. i can see how thats a blow to there offense. anyway, good luck.
Well, he's back. That's how I made my play-off run. He got injured in week 3. I went 3-0 to start the season, then 3-4 without him, and 5-1 to end the season.
Somehow we're talking about video games and injuries. Nice to see a compromise could be reached. Edit: And yes, the hit on Carr was fucking great. Freeney hit him first (blind side, naturally), then Larry Tripplett nailed him. Oh, fucking sweet. And then there was a cut scene of Carr being carried away on the medical cart unconscious.
Last time I injured myself... ah, I remember. Kinda weird. I was getting myself some tinned pineapple, and it had one of those ring-pull lids that you pull off, and, well, this is kinda embarrassing, but I wasn't paying attention and my hand slipped and I cut my finger. It didn't hurt until I realised what I'd done. That was about two days ago... haven't taken the plaster off yet, all I know is it was bleeding like a tiny cut has no right to.
And, hell, on the subject of football and injuries: What do you think the Philadelphia Eagles will do now? Correll Buckhalter and rookie Matt Ware are out for the season. Can they depend on Brain Westbrook? What I'm wondering is if the Eagles will pick up free-agent Ricky Williams (not that Ricky Williams, this one: http://nfl.com/players/playerpage/303098). After watching him play for the Colts the past two years, I know he's a solid back who can play a few downs while your starter rests, and can even fill the spot adequately if you have an unfortunate injury.
Hmm, good question. Allow me to ponder that one awhile... nope, it's just sick. The dope connection just isn't there this time.
