"I was raised on a pile of shit with assholes all around me."

 

I was ignored so therefore I raised myself... And I couldn't be happier, seriously, I couldn't...
Well, wait, I was raised on this one phrase... -Crying shows weakness...

 

I am the youngest of 6 kids, so...
barely any rules
learning from your mistakes
being yourself
team work
and prozac

 

second hand smoke,
penny pinching(occasionally counting and rolling)
bluegrass,and country music-(-and some metal and rock thanks to older bro),
being a weirdo-and that being totally normal,
family,love and all that stuff.

 

bread, water, raw meat, a shower every week, and about an hour of sunlight a day.

if i was lucky, they'd give me an outdated magazine too old even for the dentist's office every couple of months. that was the extent of my education and entertainment.

 

Some things were a lot better than others.

Dramatics, wit, intellectualism, and open-mindedness were among the positives.

 

What was I raised on:

Don't have sex
Red meat is good for you
Play outside, you should only be indoors when it's dark
Tapes are better than CD's, but Records are better than tapes
Don't ask people for help, do it yourself
Be different...don't be a follower

 

Good one:

1) cleanliness
2) reason
3) good music
4) vegetables
5) Marxist humanism

These days I believe in nothing of it. Except vegetables. Onions especially.

My first post was about life at home, but a lot of my raising was really done by the playground and friends.

The playground for me meant: SOCCER!

 

Yeah! Me too. BTW, you can call it football with me. I have a secret hatred for people who think football is a different sport.

 

I'm so used to calling it soccer by now...

But yeah, soccer is my life philosophy. Nothing is learned aside from the bed, and the soccer field. Nothing.
