No the idea would be to introduce it like how the French introduce alcohol to children at a young age. France has very low numbers of alcoholics, and yet many people there start drinking as young as 5, as their parents give them wine with meals and on special occasions. I'd use the same principle, I wouldn't be giving them a bong when they're 12, but they might get a couple tokes on a bowl on their birthday or something.

This topic came up a while back in Stoner's Lounge. My daughter will be allowed to smoke, with parental supervision, for relief of premenstrual and menstrual symptoms, when she gets her period. (This will keep Daddy from having to go on a fishing trip, or something, for a week every month.) Permitted recreational smoking will probably have to wait till she's in her mid teens, but Mom and I agree that when she starts stealing noticeable quantities from our bag, it will be time for her to get a job.

if you bring weed into my house i dont care as long as you arent high every day, and it doesnt get in the way of your future, if you drink before the legal age i will be kind of lenient but disappointed, if you ever are in possesion of cigarettes ill remove your bed and your door have fun on the floor. if you bring any hard drugs into my house i will remove you have fun on the street.

haha.... well. i guess what everyone else said... Id probably let them once they were 16 occasionally (i started at 15.. so pretty close) Also idk about the grades or how IM going to turn out but i think some C's would be acceptable. Since thats what i get. A's B's and some C's.

But being as i want to grow.... I would want to let them have their own with out buying from a dealer... but it might not be a good idea if they knew about the growing? maby just supply them and say you bought it? or charge em like half price lol. hahaha. idk maby thats wrong but it sounds like a fair deal to me. kids save money but still have to earn money to get it... and i make money.

If i ever catch my kids doing drugs that are illegal than i will beat the living shit out them.

 

unless my kid does as well as i do in school (which i'm not going to expect, being in the top 5% means that 95% of the class did worse than you... a pretty hard statistic to beat ) i will not tolerate drug use of any sort, weed included. i mean, that's what i'll say to them, and i'll make myself sound really serious but on the inside i'll be like "you foolish bastard".

the reason i say this is because if *I'M* catching my kid doing drugs then that means cops can catch my kid doing drugs. i want to be a pharmacist, how's that going to look if the local pharmacist's daughter is a big druggy.

however if my kid does happen to be born with a brain, and i catch them or they ask or something, i'll be totally upfront with them... "oh when i was your age i was smoking every day, doing heroin frequently, rolling sometimes, and tweaking occasionally but i kept my god damn head on my shoulders and now i am successful. you can do this too, just don't let me catch you again" then proceed to smoke the rest of their weed with them and carry on life as normal.

I definitely won't throw a tissy fit like my mom did and take away their car and throw out their $50 dollar pieces and their grinder. WHen you do shit like that then the kid just wants to rebel and then he has to learn on his own that weed isn't all that bad, but you need to control the weed not let the weed control you. I have 4 bongs and a pipe and I have resisted smoking for over 2 months now, see how long you can quit for......weed doesn't have to be a daily routine and being sober really makes you brighter even though you can still do the day to day things, smoking daily is just a waste and it gets to expensive. I would tell my kid everything about weed and let them know how I feel and that they should know when the weed is getting out of hand and when to take a break. Just as long as their doing good in school and not smoking with random dudes and not smoking all day everyday then I'll be cool with it. I'm not a hypocrite

Well, I'd never condone it but at a certain age I'd begin to turn a blind eye to it. What age idk, depends how mature they are. If they're idiots about it then I won't punish them, that's not my style, I think people learn best from their own mistakes, punishing people just makes them more determined. I would however call them out on being a dumbass, literally I would call them a dumbass, that would get through to a 17 year old more then logical explantions.

I don't think I'd smoke with my kids, when they were older sure. As teenagers it'd just be weird, I mean if I knew they were smoking inside my house I might be like hey give me a few hits, then walk back out.
