A drawing for Halloween a couple of years ago:


I have yet to fix the head and face of this poor thing:


And my first attempt with pastels:


Those are the only ones I have uploaded.

Oh and you can buy a spray to fix the charcoal so it doesn't smudge.

 

i like em. i suck at people. i had to draw my slef portrait and it looked nothing like me. maybe i drew how i wanted to look

Do you know how expensive the spray is? I know that you can get paper to stick between them too..but i'm sure i'd forget to spray and put paper between each sketch anyway.

thats why i dont like doing self portraits in classes. I feel like i draw how i want to look.

but you know, its a self portrait, so fuck it, you can draw however you think you look or want to look.

Umm I think it's like 10 bucks at Walmart. Maybe less. I've yet to buy the stuff. My art professor always used it.

 

thats what i told my teacher and she gave me a "B." i asked her if we can do it abstractly and she said no. id love to do an abstract self. thats what im going to do!!!! hah! thanks guys for leading me to that.

 

yeah, I wana go to parsons actually. I'm not sure when, but one day i'd like to go there.

Yeah in art classes they always make me spray shit. But i'm waaaay too messy and not neat with my art to be bothered getting up out of my zone to spray it.
