i don't know about the "prop" part, very probably not. welding hobbiests are a thing that exist though, so no reason it couldn't be a real bar-b-que. from my perspective, art isn't something to buy, its something to make as your own expression. if you commission an artist to make something, its not unreasonable to support them by paying art prices. its also though, just as reasonable to make yourself for no more then the cost of materials and your time. just "mho", but anyone trying to impress others by what they can buy instead of what they can make, deserves to have to pay whatever the artist they commission has the temerity to ask. somehow i doubt this is a mass production item, and if the 'company' making them is only a couple of artists and they only sell a few of them a year, well they still have to cover their cost of living. of course i don't know if that's the case, but i wouldn't be quick to assume it isn't.
