How much this man excites me, I smirk, I smile, I get wet every time we talk : ) He lights a fire no man has ever done before.
Getting the call being told happy birthday to the Marines this morning, 250 years old now. Found out boss has something for me including a couple more co workers of mine tomorrow. Part department guy (Navy) and service manager (also a Marine) are also veterans
How mad I got at my best friend for her text. It amused me only because as soon as she called, we worked it out. Someone should just outlaw texting so we can go back to just calling each other.
A frigate bird. A roseate spoonbill; I see those so rarely these days. A very large solitary manatee cruising down the beach, just beyond the surf line. A dolphin jumping clear of the water; one of a pod of about a half dozen. A white pelican; first of the season.
Bought me a newer reliable vehicle, a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I like it which I test drove it and checked it over. Plus it was clean inside and out taken care of very well which the seller shown me the service records. My husband and I talked about it before purchase and knew I was due for a newer vehicle. Transmission puked in my old ride Thursday afternoon, a 2013 Escape I hated. Borrowed my mom's car going to school and to work yesterday. Good thing was I did fill it up with gas before returning it. Good thing is my boss has a fax machine I can use. Transferring the insurance to the Jeep on Monday calling my insurance company. Plus put the title in my name and renew my plate on Tuesday, birthday is in a couple weeks doing this ahead of time
Being a year older now,47 now turning that yesterday. My husband reminding me that he loves the way I am now saying I am still one hot mama playing me this song this morning, Trace Adkins - Hot Mama (Official Music Video)
Very heavy dewfall this morning. With the palm trees still silhouetted black against the bright orange sky, the first rays of the morning sun touched the tips of the fronds, and all the dewdrops lit up, for a moment looking for all the world like white Christmas lights. Hawaiian shirt & shorts in December, walking home from Tai chi along the water, watching the dolphins. Yeah; I'm easily amused.
A couple of years ago I drove from London up to Liverpool in the UK, in order to buy a guitar. It was a long drive, so we stayed in a hotel overnight before driving home the following day. While in the hotel I was idly finger picking the guitar, so that I could get used to the string spacing and the scale. My wife looked out of the window and saw a squirrel sitting on a tree branch a couple of feet from the open window, listening to my playing. When I stopped playing the squirrel moved away, but when I started playing again it came back and sat there listening to my musical musing. From this I inferred that animals of all kinds to actually appreciate music just as we do, and they'll happily stop their lives in order to listen when they hear someone playing music.
