It's not the best. Shiner is pretty much the standard I judge beer by, since it brings back so many memories. I won't drink anything worse then Shiner, and I'm always satisfied with a Shiner. I don't expect too much with beer. I don't really expect it to have subtle nuances which dance across my palate. Just something refreshing and beer.
Hey now, Pabst isn't too shabby. It's sure better than Bud, Coors, Miller, and all the other macro swills. It's nothing I would want to drink all the time, but I find it quite refreshing from time to time. Good lawnmower beer.
i thought this was directed at me at first. WHAT? like it's a club that no one goes to til late. i have NEVER heard anyone speak like this.! and pressed rat is right. you have to have tasted REAL good beers before you can judge them. and corona is crapola!
I'm just kidding Rubin. It's alright. I've got fond memories of copious PBR. It's much better than the big three.
PBR is FAR from being the best beer out there. But it sure as hell is the best cheap beer out there. First thing I do when I get back to Arkansas in a little over a week... go to a gas station, buy two 30 packs of PBR, and throw down.
i kinda feel this way about an everyday beer that i'm gonna drink six or ten of. but if i'm drinking one or two, i love to try new beers. i collect the bottle caps, but only one from each type; i have like 70 some. rochester has this store beers of the world. it is INSANE. i might have to see if they have shiner. awesome i like a nice honey lager (leniekugels honey weiss, jw dundeees, or labatts honey lager) or wheat ale like blue moon or hogarrden the best blue moon could actually be a white ale, i dunno beer is good and oh, miller high life is my CHEAP beer of choice. that or busch light. they could just be sentimental attachment though, not taste
Corona isn't bad in 100 degree weather because it goes down like water. It's definitely nothing I would pay $8.00 a six-pack for, though.
I would prefer Coors to Corona. Even though it was 106 today, I still wouldn't really be up for it. It's not a strong flavor though. It does go down easy. Coors main advertising point seems to be that it's cool. Which correct me if I'm wrong, is true of many refrigerated liquids.
yea and coors is always coming up with shit like the blue lined can...to keep it cold...or the mountains that turn blue...when it's cold! yes! my fridge is working! make better beer if you want people to drink it, although they must be doing alright, i think coors is actually one of the more popular beers.
I got some Long Hammer IPA, because it was the only brewer they had at the mart that I hadn't tried yet. it's ok. I've had better IPAs.
