What's Happening?

My friend roasts his own coffee. Had to buy a roaster but insists it's the greatest thing because he can control taste by roasting it the way he wants and unroasted beans are much cheaper but you can still get them in a variety of flavors.

 

It’s snowing outside but we’re not expecting any accumulation - Winter has finally arrived

It was the coldest day yet here...and it threatened to snow all day by the look and feel of things, but held off....Ok, hold off one more day...oh, make that two more, no three.... days....We will get leaves picked up and gutters cleaned...and then you can snow after my brother gets here...

like the weather is going to listen to me....

 

We had all 5 grandkids together today! It's their school break. My grandson will only be here again tomorrow and then he's going to Louisiana with this other grandparents. They've had a death in the family.


Two dresses that I ordered to try on for my daughter's wedding came today. I'm in love with the one I saved $140 on. I hope it looks good on me!

 

Usually I can deal with the cold but right now I am sitting in front of the heater despite lots of things to get done.

 

I'm waiting on the toaster oven so I can heat up my dinner sandwich.

 

The triplets' team won the "World Series" tournament they play over the weekend; however, one of their friends broke a finger during the game.

I hated missing Sunday's games due to hubby's health but I'm really glad I wasn't there to see one of my favorite little girls injured!

Today is hubby's birthday. He is from November to May older than me.

 

I cooked hubby a special request dinner for his birthday. Now, if he will just wake up and eat.

 

hopefully he dont get mean.. maybe just let him sleep.

so satan set the kitchen on fire this time. well almost. left a pot on the stove with the element on, element is ruined, handle melted and smoked. normally wouldnt hear that alarm going off because the kitchen has a door blocking off the dinning room, but it was cracked enough to let smoke though. I smashed the rest of the stove with a hammer.. all I could do to keep the hammer out of satans skull. guess someone is only going to be eating off the gas grill for a while,, unless she comes up with the cash for it. Im not replacing it , no way no how..

Hubby's awake and I took his food to him. His sister called for his birthday so he's talking to her while the food cools off for him.

 

was up on the 3rd story doing some roofing after work today.
wasnt to cold out there and the sun was out. wont stop leaks til I get flashing around the chimneys..

about a month ago , I come home and seen a new meter on my house, and Im like cool. looks nice and digital. today I get my bill .. it was over 600$.. Im like hello power company you screw up. no way from 97$ to 620$ in a month, its not even cold outside and I couldnt use that much power if I was running a full grow, with air conditioning. least the fixed it over the phone.

first I thought it was 62$.. I was like HELL YEAH.. And then noticed the point. WTF!! but ya always see stories like this on the news. people flipping over their bill..

ah I didnt have no problem they fixed it over the phone without all the psycho drama.

now I have had problems with the water company, they are some real assholes there. do they even realize I can walk to the reservoir and dump pollutants in it??. no they dont care about that because collections dont know where water comes fro.. they only care about money.. just give us the $16,000 for our buried water meter thats a city owned lot now..

I took care of that about a year ago, they were putting liens on property, shut off current residence threats. really the city bulldozed the house, and buried the meter and they want to charge me 50$ a month fee for 20yrs the property been done gone.. nuts..

 

I'm so happy with the dress I bought for my daughter's wedding (Oct. 2017). I wouldn't have bought so early but I found a great dress at a great price. I got the last one in my size and color; and saved $140.00

My client paid me for my work in cannabis. I got 3 ounces of Fire OG, Chernobyl, and Afghan Black Domina.
