How could anyone pass up an opportunity to dwell in the Land of 10,000 lakes (although technically it has 12,000 lakes)

I just came back from Switzerland today, and I am in Bosnia now.
Still have this whole week off yay.

 

so that is where the differences are. i have no kids and prefer a non family friendly environment. i belong in an adult resort town i think.

oh yeah and fuck the cold there. i know its still not warm where i am in the winter but fuck that extra 10-20 degrees up there.

Mine was pretty late. It was at 12:01 a.m.

 

Whoever lives off the west coast would have the latest. Pretty sure NZ might be first big nation or the farthest ahead. I know central Europe is like. Right in the middle there.

 

I was tired by 6pm.. rested eyes a bit, took oxy, gave me a little energy to hang. went to bed 130ish, I think..

 

I don't know that Faelix is in Hawaii anymore.

 

I think I've misplaced my old rune cards. Just laminated runes I had drawn up maybe 6-8 years ago.

What's amazing is once you connect yourself with runes they literally run through your whole life in different ways and I maintain right now I see my rune cards all the time, every day. I guess when I meditated with them it put them in my minds eye. All I see is my bold, red runes yet I cannot find the for the life of me and realistically, I never took them back to Europe with me. Yet I see them every day not one room, not one piece if furniture or drawer that I don't see them with.

That tells me though, that I've self taught and inherited them so ingrain into my psyche and sub conscious. that means a lot to me. But now I must draw up new rune cards. I also get to make a wand too.

 

This evening actually I was trying to establish a connection with my runes as I was dreaming but I dreamt instead that it was my partner making that connection. Actually this a one out of many dream I actually dream of myself. I was watching my partner sing and perform for each rune. She was dressed in a dark cloak and bright red dress, the dress of a vitki.

I believe I'm making ground breaking connections now. I remember how I did also a log time ago before I put it all away.

It's overcast but it feels much less gloomy than the past two days have.


Note: Check your dirty clothes before putting them in the washer. I had laid a pair of sweat pants on the top of the dresser instead of putting them in the hamper. I gathered them and some clothes that were in the hamper, put them in the washer, and came back to find the handle of the lint roller in the washer. I was left with clumps of gluey stuff stuck in the washer and white stuff on the clothes. I just re-washed them in vinegar. I don't know how that worked at getting the white off of them.

 

Over the last couple of weeks since I went into a rut on the pool table I started to hit my striped balls around and one thing I noticed, was the ball wasn't sliding on contact with my cue. Balls should slide a touch before rolling.

So I've been trying to correct that have come up with the following conclusions based on my results.

That the longer the cue ball slides before rolling into its contact ball, the straighter and more accurate that shot is. But you have to hit it correctly and for me, power doesn't equate to a good hit. Instead I now incision myself "throwing" the cue straight through the ball and when I do this i get slide. Of course I aim slightly under centre and over a long shot slide stops and forward roll progresses so slightly draw back shot still stays true.

Anyway I have been so much better accurately it's not even funny. I'm now working on that same shot but at shorter distances and so far tonight I've not missed a ball.

My science around it is that roll creates friction on the felt and friction leads to inaccuracy but slide stays true until the forward roll so up until the point of the forward roll, the slide and cue stroke has stayed true on that line. So if I can slide a ball half way to the object ball, then I only have to worry about half the distance staying accurate which of course, makes your shots stay true.
