What's Happening?

Just shaved. Was wiping off the loose hairs when I saw one in my ear. I pull it and it wasn't a loose hair.

I guess I am old now.

 

No, just getting more hair.

I am going to take it easy today. For some reason I am feeling off. Not sick but not right either.

 

i think i have more hairs in my ears than i do on my head..

My wife had a four week cough. I was getting concerned but it's going away slowly. Today is a almost a cough free day for her...

 

Feeling blue,took an afternoon nap. Woke up feeling blue. Such is life.

 

I just found out that we don't have the girls after school today.

I actually need to go to the grocery store and to cook some food.

I don't mind the cooking part but the store feels like a pain.

I think that it just messes with my head space too much... I'm not on that wave length.

 

i hate store shopping. girlfriend thinks I want to live there.. take a picture it will last longer..

virtual shopping will be here soon. if its not already.. you can just sit in front the tv and scroll down the isle as fast as you like, pick out what you want, have it delivered..

when I get beer. I take pictures of the cooler so i know what I can get next time.. saves me much time than looking at 99bottles of beer selection..

 

I was going to change out the twinkle lights on the porch. I've had red up for Valentine's/February.

Both sets on the green for March/St. Patrick's are on the fritz. I hate messing with those tiny fuses. I can never even get the compartment open.

It's ramen noodle time and then I'll go to the damn store. They say "thunder" will be starting at 3:45.

My physical energy is super low today. I didn't realize that when I was just puttering around the house.

Hubby is still asleep, lol

I have postural hypotension. Feel dizzy every time I time I get up. Meds I'm on.

Thanks Pete! I think for some reason my energy is just off. I am probably more frustrated because of that.

Hope your lady continues to improve as a cough is not a good thing with the history she has. Can be scary as hang. I often use lavender and eucalyptus in a sachet when I get like that as it helps clear me. Might be worth trying.

 

Now I have my tongue permanently in the roof of my mouth lol.

 

Helps for brain freeze too.

 

I'm sure you can jump over balls in the pub but not our league. yes it is to me the standard pool game. Reds/yelllows, stripes/solids, big/smalls and a black ball, you hit that in last.

9 ball is fun but we don't use those table styles much.

One frustrating thing about trying to learn from books and YouTube is it's always American tables and American tables as far as I'm concerned are easy to play. My accuracy allows me to kick ass on American tables. There is one here in a venue, two tables with red felt and cut 9 ball pockets. Last I played I was trashed drunk and couldn't lose. Lol. I was also playing double with my partner and I watch her line a shot up and I'm like no way never going in, cut pockets and sinks it lol.

Anyway, so YouTube is always on these tables and these tables and cut pockets allow you to be inaccurate and hit a ball a lot harder.

If I hit the corned of my tables pocket, on a traditional European table, that ball will never go in. It won't stand a chance. It'll spit out elsewhere. Also if I hit a rail before the pocket, no chance whatsoever it will go in unless that pocket has an almighty roll. On a 9 ball table, you can make a ball by hitting the rail halfway up the table! It hits the cut pocket, bounce to the opposite cut and falls in. Also Americans use larger balls to compensate for the fact they use 8ft tables opposed to our 7ft tables. Now, you watch these guys move a cue ball around on American tables, larger balls = more friction = moreovement, so I've completely taught myself to ignore those training videos. I have to be accurate. That's how we sink balls on our table, accuracy.
