What's Happening?

Thankfully it did not damage the house or car. Going to be a job to clean it up though so you can get out. Firewood, yup but nice when you can plan the tree coming down.

 

Strangest thing today. I went out to start the car to do some errands and for some reason my security system was activated on the car. Had to reset it. I hope this is a one off thing or I am going to kick her in the wheels. Then call my mechanic of course. lol

 

Upon further research of this place, I would have had to walk outside and walk several meters to turn on and off the water heater to take showers early in the morning. Plus the windows were not sealed very well and I could see large forest insects crawling through the cracks. I declined the offer but it wasn't an easy decision.

IDK if I'd call Deadpool a hero though. And certainly I wouldn't compare him to Transformers.

Had a recent family gathering and I was forced to play Bingo with the extended relatives. And I gotta say this is the most mundane board game of all time. No strategy or thought involved at all. You don't even have to be a good listener either, because there's always gonna be that one person who demands they repeat all the letter/number combos that've been called out. So boring.... I can now understand why this game is super popular amongst the senile and demented.

 

They built a big hall for bingo. Casino came and ended that.. I couldnt even tell you where the bingo is now.

 

Bingo is no fun unless you're playing for a big pot.

 

I don’t want to diminish what happened in other areas but we had wind gusts today of 50-60 mph and in 2 separate incidents (1 in Massachusetts and 1 in Connecticut) two people were killed when their cars were struck by falling trees

Getting a physical for the job. Interview obviously went well.
Did all the bullshit height weight drug test eye test. Blood pressure. So I think I'm done.

We go back into the exam room and he tells me take off my clothes and put on this gown and shorts and the doc will see me in a minute.

I never had to put on shorts for a doc exam...what the hell is that all about.

Now I am sitting here wondering what the hell he is gonna do that couldn't be done in my street clothes.

Absolutely nothing. He checked eyes ears throat. Asked me to bend side ways. Touch toes. Asked about medication. That was it...??


Oh yeah did the piss test and they got a secret bonus. Passed a few small stones in the test cup.

 

I bet that does not happen too often.

Yes it does. I will be delayed a day or 3 because they didn't tell me to sign a paper for background check. They are off weekends...I can drop it in their Dropbox but shit won't get started till then.

the most important part of the work physical is the pickup basketball game.

 

I LOL at people who worry about a drug test at my work. I LOL real hard. I think where all spaced out at the best of times in the place.

 

I was doing housework today and called upstairs to Kieran that I was cleaning the floors and he could not come downstairs for a half hour for them to dry. He has since gone out and when I checked my email he sent me this.........I am going to smack that kid.
