It's actually really good. YouTube "Tell these Bitches" I think it's fantastic. Production good it's almost like some techno and bass and ambience all with a gritty rhyme and flow, in yo face, it's unreal I love that song so much.

Film clip was a lol too. :D hell even the album cover cracks me up.

But seriously you should listen and I know you probably won't like it but I've showed some others and they think it's actually really good. It's 500% better than anything ICP has ever made, I don't know why Shaggs isn't allowed to run the show tbh.

And he's so cute and adorable in the film clip I just wanna give him lots of hugs. :D I met the dude twice and hugged him twice so I think he'd appreciate more hugs from me. :)

Actually funny story the first time I met him, we did this, I don't know what sort of hand shake I went in for a normal handshake, he pulled out some weird ass gangsta Detroit American thing and we kinda danced around it, then we slapped hands and drew back so our finger tips were in each other's fingers crease if that makes sense?

His finger nails were long and sharp and he drew blood in two of my fingers! So if I wasn't baptized the night before under showers of diet soda from the stage, well I got christened the next day. :D

right now, i have internet back for however long that lasts. been 'limited' as in unable to access for the past three or four days.
well its now the day before blfc. i was thinking i was maybe going to go to the bank today to i would have more cash in my pocket,
instead of having to use my card in the dealer's room. what i dug out of the atm a couple of days ago is probably as much as i ought to spend anyway,
and now its 18:43 and it takes me a couple of hours to get anywhere and back on the bus, so i'm probably not going anywhere until
tomorrow afternoon when i head over to the gsr to pick up my pre-reg and con-badge.
(gsr=grand sierra resort. was built as mgm grand. still has the lions on the elevator doors. this is the one in reno/sparks.
friday and saturday nights i have a room there and am looking forward to a nice long soak in a real tub, something my place of residence lacks)

My dad once told me when I used to blast my music that if everyone has to hear it then I'm forcing them to listen to it.

Of course I argued back no way if you don't wanna listen then don't.

Thought after buying my own place now and having neighbors and things, yeah I get it. You pretty much are forced to listen to it if it is too loud.

Mind you I was also music battling 3 other sisters. Hehe. :D

I read an interesting comment yesterday afternoon about the Confederate Flag and those proud patriotic southerners.

Other than slavery, which is all we ever hear about so I don't know the political side of the civil war everyone says it was all about slaves but then it wasn't but that's what they all wanna talk about..

So anyway the argument was that since the confederate people didn't comply with the American institution and doctrine etc. that they really weren't Americans at all they basically said "fuck America" and at that moment going into war against the north, they were a non American force or people, they were confederates. So, the idea of flying the confederate flag as a symbolism of southern American heritage, it doesn't really work considering they denounced their American identity to form the confederates.

    Thoughts??

I found it interesting it was a very well written sentence I just sum it up I saw it on FB so not sure if I can find it.

    http://www.intellectualtakeout.org/blog/5-causes-civil-war-besides-slavery

This article may help you understand, Irm.

Our country was undergoing some difficult divisions among the states, and the people.
You would think, by the rhetoric seen online, or even in society that all that mattered was where a person was from determined them a Yankee or a Rebel, but it was not that cut and dry...

I was born in the South, my parents and my newly born little ass was ridiculed as being damn yankees (popular term there).
And I went to trade school in Tennessee in the early 80's. I learned I was not exactly in the right place...It's funny in that way because there were townships (mine, at home in Indiana, a Yankee state of the North) that rejected their membership to the Union and followed the Confederacy.

My neighbor's home was used as an Underground Railroad home, with it's hidden room and tunnel under the road over to the barn. Still there, but the passages are in bad shape.
Union firearms and such were found built into the walls of our home, and my grandparent's home, and likely others too. We still have them.

Southerners say if you're from a Northern state, you're a Yankee. That simple. But it's not totally true and nobody cares.

People put decals on their cars and even fly flags of the Confederacy to this day, even right here in Indiana. Some believe it's a modern symbol of rebellion, some say it's racially motivated. Ask one of them, and all they will do is usually just smile.

Basically the Union believed in American freedom and the chance for people to do as they pleased. And Confederates wanted the freedom to own slaves, as well as the freedom to not be held so accountable to the North.
The website at the top may hopefully help you understand, but ultimately everyone here has their own take on the matter. I personally think it's stupid to live in the past, as we have entirely different issues now that mean so much more to our world at the present time.

    I hope somehow this helps...[IMG]

Oh right! You're backwards from us! :D

but everyone wants to hear MINE!! lol
Yea, I can make myself mental thinking about this. Folks driving by with music i don't like, but when it's mine, I want to play it loudly, but then I think about how those others bothered me and do I really want to be a jerk about it...these days. I think I behave myself, and I'll actually cringe at others who play it loud with me in the car, but I wasn't always like this. I'm not going to play something loudly that I don't like though. Kinda works out that some of the stuff that I do like, is pretty drowning...haha or has anyone blasted classical music??!! That will get folks starring!! lol (I apologize if I missed any comments about this. I'm kinda fading away by the end of the days these days, these sunshiny days-heat is getting to me! :) )

I like how the site says it states reasons other than slavery but I think I read the world slavery in almost every point. :D pretty much to the final point that both sides had different agendas, pretty much pointing out that the south wanted slave labor.

I think my history documentary should have finished by now so i can start to watch that. But that's more the civil war I think, not so much the politics leading up to it.

Ya know, after watching my Wild West series, I'd suggest a lot of people take up the confederate flag for rebellion purposes, I mean the mythology behind Jesse James himself, shrouded in confederacy and the fact he rode north to hijack northern state trains etc. out of everything I read and watched of that guy, no slaves. Just a bad ass. People like bad asses. He was a rebel for sure, so I bet, a lot of people who favor his side probably have a confederate flag somewhere whether sticker or not and it reminds them of Jesse James, not civil war.

That sort of thing and the Wild West in general, though not Southern, just really has the outlaw southern appeal to it I feel.

I totally get why the Rebels use it as insignia with their bike gang. They're rebels. Well, they think they are.

Pack of wankers if you ask me. :D

    And, that, was history talk.

    Careful no politics, please.

Somehow, I slept 10 1/2 hours last now; that's not my normal.

I just paid bills since the back account stuff got straightened out after somebody stole my info and made that fraudulent charge.

It's shower time now and then I'll take my granddaughter to her school softball workout. They had to postpone tryouts the first week because of rain. They were to be this week until the coach found out almost none of the new girls had their physicals and releases signed. He can't even let them on the field without them. The ones that have their shit together (papers signed) are having "workouts" this week. I don't think they will hold tryouts until later this Summer.

It's off that I don't have at least one notification, someone always liking something I wrote, or arguing against it so when I've had several hours off and I come on and no notifications I'm like hmmm have I pissed off the entire community or something? :D

    you're welcome.

i have the same problem glen's describing from time to time, although it hasn't happened to me in a while. a couple months ago it was happening so often that i completely stopped checking them for a few weeks. i only went back to the old way after i was out of town for a week and got used to posting from my phone, then forgot about the issue until i had already tried it and it worked when i came back.

i've found that it usually happens when i first log on to hipforums, and if i just immediately refresh the page as soon as it loads for the first time, the notifications will work properly when it reloads.
