I just found out that my grandson is taking a friend on vacation and one of the females is probably going to stay home. I thought they were a couple but they are just best friends.

 

Going to see third eye blind tomorrow. Got my nephew to drive for a ticket. Cost me $15. Which is cheaper than a cab. And with no work the next day...well I hope I remember anything about the show.
Possible bonus is his friends are going and got seats. We are thinking of maybe doing a double switch to get us all in the seated area.

2 of our boys are heading to England to represent Deutschland in 8BALL pool. not boys in my team, just in our association.

In the next 5 years, I want to be doing the same thing for the women's group.

I don't like how pool championships is segregated into men's/women's. I can hold my own against men and I destroy most women. Where's the equality!!

We need heavy duty screens for birds that fly into it and Wisconsin mosquitos are as big as hummingbirds.

White screen would get dirty pretty quick and accually the darker screen provides extra side shade from really hot July and August sun.

 

I got awakened by a call that said I was being picked up at 1:00 pm today, instead of 9:00 pm.

Yep, I'm in a tizzy.

 

Everything except clothes is packed.

I'm taking a breather before I put that stuff in the suitcase and get myself dressed.

I didn't know Aerianne was from Atlanta. I was there a couple of months ago and, yeah, worst traffic I've ever experienced. Twelve lanes or so on I85 at a standstill, trying to merge four lanes to the left because of construction in bumper to bumper traffic...my exit ramp was literally in sight but it still took 15 or 20 minutes to reach it. It made me understand road-rage.

Ohhh who pulls an 8hr early pickup that's a day right there of getting ready just taken away from you lol. I wouldn't have been very happy either.

I just had a good 9hrs sleep. I'm going to practice some pool early morning here now and march myself down to the pool comp in the morning. I haven't been on the table for a few days and I'm not feeling ... it? So I now need to get into my, or rather find and develop, my pre-tournament ritual. I'm thinking a hot shower, some wheat-Brix aaaand some form of energy drink.
